Five Common Blocks In The Solar Plexus Chakra Of Your Biz

In this episode of the Biz Alchemy podcast, Jacquelyn explores the five most common blocks she sees in the solar plexus chakra of businesses. She shares what aspects of business the solar plexus chakra governs, and how certain blocks can sabotage the success of your biz. Plus she provides some tips to strengthen your business's solar plexus chakra.

This week we are going to chat about the solar plexus and I'm going to share with you the five most common blocks I see in the solar plexus of a business.

Before we get into the business side of the solar plexus chakra,

Let's talk about your solar plexus just briefly.

Your solar plexus is open and activated when you feel self-confident,

When you have a strong sense of purpose,

And when you're self-motivated.

Just embodying those traits,

Your solar plexus shines.

And the solar plexus of your business is very similar.

That confidence from a business really oozes out.

Vibrationally,

You can feel when a business has confidence,

Just like you can feel when the owner has confidence,

When a business is in its power,

When it's really shining with its authenticity.

I always see the solar plexus as having a yin and yang component like all the chakras like us.

Except for me,

It's really obvious in the solar plexus.

I see the yin side of your solar plexus being all about your self-love,

Your self-belief,

Your self-worth,

Your self-trust,

All the self-words,

All the words that show that you're honoring yourself and embracing yourself.

I see that as the yin side of the solar plexus.

The yang side of the solar plexus is about taking action.

It's your warrior energy.

It's your will.

It's you being in your power.

And what I find is that if you are not fully embracing that yin side,

If you are not truly believing in who you are and loving every aspect of who you are,

Then the actions that you take out into the world,

The actions you take in your business are not in alignment with your true essence.

So basically,

Issues around self-worth,

Self-belief,

Self-trust,

Any old stories there that block that part of the solar plexus from really being activated impact how aligned your actions are in the world.

It means you're taking actions coming from a place that is not whole,

That is not complete.

And so those actions can be out of alignment with actually what you really want to achieve with your bigger vision.

The solar plexus can be quite linked to the third eye because the third eye is all about vision.

The solar plexus is about the drive to take the steps.

It's the direction and the actions you take to get you to that goal.

Now it goes without saying that for entrepreneurs,

Self-belief is vital.

The more confidence that you have in yourself and in your business,

The more aligned your actions will be with your goals,

As I just explained.

And when I have a look at the energy body of female entrepreneurs,

I rarely see a solar plexus that doesn't have energetic blocks that come from stories of lack of self-worth.

And this lack of believing in yourself can show up through comparisonitis.

It can show up through wearing an invisibility cloak because,

Oh my gosh,

Who'd want to stand out?

You can't stand out.

You've just got to fit in with the crowd.

And this is detrimental for you and it's also detrimental for your business.

Tying in with that,

It can show up as imposter syndrome.

And the interesting thing about this,

From my experience with my clients,

It doesn't matter whether you're new to business or whether you've been in business for years and have a very successful business.

These solar plexus stories can still show up because of our conditioning,

The way we've been raised,

Our education system,

The beliefs in our society,

And the fact that the business model is not designed for women.

And you can listen to all my earlier episodes where I talk about the fact that we have tried to fit into a model of business that was really designed for men and favors men.

And I mean that in terms of it favors their gifts,

It plays to their strengths.

The current system of business does not play to the strengths of women,

Which is why we're creating a new way of showing up in business.

And when I look at the solar plexus of female entrepreneurs,

I see evidence of this because the stories held in there,

Regardless of how successful they look to be in their business,

Are because they actually still feel out of alignment with the business model.

So as I go through the five most common blocks that I see in a business's solar plexus,

It will help you understand what a business's solar plexus is about,

What energies are held there,

Why it's important that it's clear and strong for the success of your business.

So the first block I'm going to talk about is to do with boundaries.

Now,

Obviously,

This is as relevant to the business owner as it is to the business because,

In fact,

One of the boundaries that is often quite weak or let's say malleable is between the owner of the business and the business itself.

Okay,

So are you guilty of poor boundaries between you and your business?

For example,

You are pretty much open 24-7 or maybe not when you sleep,

But in some ways you still are because maybe as soon as you wake,

You reach for your phone and check your emails or check any messages to do with your business.

That is a very poor boundary between you and your business.

A strong boundary is about having an opening time,

Having a closing time,

Weekends off and so forth.

Now,

The thing is,

This not only supports you in giving you a break from your business,

It actually allows your business to have some yin time.

I talk about this a little bit more and something else to consider around boundaries is the boundary between your business and your clients.

So are you way too flexible in meeting clients' needs in terms of appointment times,

For example,

Rather than being really firm on that and protecting your business energy and your energy by saying,

Well,

No,

These are my hours?

Is the boundary firm between your business and clients in terms of not overgiving time-wise,

Going over the time of the appointment?

Or it could be boundaries,

Say,

When a client is late.

Now,

So I'll go into this much more deeply,

But just know that this is a really important factor for keeping the solar plexus of your business really clear and strong.

Boundaries I could chat about forever,

Which is why I did an episode on boundaries.

So let's move on to number two.

A second block I commonly see in the solar plexus of a business is that it has an unclear identity.

Now,

This is actually quite common where the business is not really sure what it's about.

Now,

This can show up in many ways.

It can show up in terms of branding.

So the branding is inconsistent.

What shows up on the website could be very different to what shows up in the social media and so forth.

Now,

When I say branding,

I'm not just talking about colors,

Although that's important,

Or logo and so on,

The visible branding,

But the energy behind the branding or the energy behind the way your business is showing up on the website compared to other places it shows up.

Does it feel the same for people who are reading the energy?

Because in actual fact,

That's what people are doing.

Sure,

They're looking at the visuals,

They're reading the words,

But underneath that,

They're actually reading the energy of the business.

Is it consistent?

Do you feel like the energy of your website is exactly the same as the energy of your Instagram?

Because this is really important.

This is consistent branding and this is what builds trust.

Consistency builds trust.

And this can be the problem if you're not clear on your niche because you're sending out mixed messages because one time you might post something and you're sending out one particular message and another time you're sending out a different message again.

Now for your poor business,

Energetically,

That is very confusing and so it really weakens the solar plexus energy.

And as much as we may resist it,

This is actually why niching is important.

It doesn't mean you can't change your niche,

But as long as there is consistency within that niche while you are targeting that niche because this really strengthens the solar plexus in terms of its sense of worth,

Its sense of purpose,

And it helps give more strength to the actions.

It helps keep those actions aligned with the bigger vision,

With the solar plexus of the business.

And now to the third block,

And this is about disempowerment.

There is nothing more off-putting than a business that is not in its power.

Now obviously the business reflects you significantly here,

But you also get a sense when a business is in its own power.

And this ties in with what I've just been talking about.

It means,

You know,

Its messages in alignment,

Its branding is in alignment,

It has strong boundaries,

You know,

All these things help put a business into its power.

It's almost like the business has a really strong sense of its own worth.

I'll talk about that a bit more in a minute.

But this is all a part of the empowerment of your business.

Now I mentioned earlier about comparisonitis.

When you are comparing your business to other businesses,

That disempowers your business.

You are not acknowledging your business has its unique gifts.

It is a unique business,

It has its unique lane to stay in.

So in many ways,

If you are finding yourself dropping into comparisonitis,

Where you are comparing yourself with other businesses,

Other entrepreneurs,

You are dishonouring your business and disempowering your business.

This disempowerment can also happen when you are following coaches or mentors who have different values to you or they have a different vision for your business than you do.

This is incredibly disempowering for your business because again,

You are not honoring its authentic path.

And what will often happen as a result of this is you will end up going down another path.

You will end up shifting the identity of the business to fit in with what your mentor says.

And then your business moves out of its power plus it just gets more blocked.

It just takes on all these stories and that can take quite a bit of time to disentangle when you realize what's happened to move that energy out of your business and bring it back into its power.

So much more helpful if you can realize this from the start.

And this leads me into the fourth block I want to talk about,

Which is about your business feeling unworthy.

Because if you are taking it down a different path to its path,

To the path that is part of its essence which is connected in with the heart chakra,

Then your business doesn't have a strong sense of worth.

It doesn't feel worthy to itself.

It doesn't feel worthy to you.

Now if you're thinking,

Oh,

Does my business feel unworthy?

One way that you can,

One indicator shall we say of this is you feel like you're in a push-pull relationship with your business.

And whenever a client says that to me and I look at the business solar plexus,

Well in fact look at the client's solar plexus and the business,

There are blocks around this worthiness and it creates this incredible push-pull energy.

And another way of saying this is my client might say that they don't feel in love with their business.

You know,

It's just like I just don't love it in the way that I used to.

It's frustrating me now.

So all of those sort of feelings are indicating this lack of worth within the business because the business doesn't feel loved by you and this is really important.

And we can forget to tell our business what we think that we can forget to express gratitude and appreciation and love for being in our life for the opportunities it brings us.

So this is really important if you are wanting to increase your business's sense of worth.

You help it feel worthy and you also help it feel worthy by honoring the boundaries,

By not taking on clients who energetically are not aligned with your business,

By not over giving from your business,

By having those boundaries around time and around what you provide.

So collect testimonials as well that helps the worth of your business.

Rave to people about your business that helps its worth.

Do you do that or do you find yourself going,

Oh my business,

I'm just finding it so hard at the moment,

It's not making me enough money,

I'm putting so much time into it.

You know,

All of these things really block up the solar plexus of your business and leaves your business feeling unworthy to be a business,

Unworthy to be your business,

Unworthy of you,

And unworthy to shine,

Which is where the imposter syndrome can come in.

So give your business lots of love,

Make it feel worthy,

Let it shine,

Allow it to shine in its fullness.

And from this place,

It is amazing,

The level of client it will attract to it,

In terms of vibration,

Because its vibration will be coming from a,

I am worthy place.

So you think about it just in your own life.

Would you be attracted to working with someone or working with a business where actually energetically it felt like they didn't feel worthy?

Like that's what their energy was coming out,

Going,

Oh,

I'm not sure about myself here.

I'm feeling a bit of an imposter.

I'm trying to dim my light a little.

I don't think I'm as good as that business over there.

Would you be attracted to that?

So this is why all of these things I'm talking about,

It's vital to take steps now to strengthen the business of solar plexus.

But hang on,

There's one more to go I'm going to talk about today.

So the fifth block I'm going to discuss is when a business is directionless,

When it seems to be going round in circles.

It's like it doesn't have a vision.

It doesn't have a path to walk along,

To take steps towards.

And this is part of that yang side of the solar plexus,

This action side,

That it's taking steps towards a goal.

Now this can be sabotaged by you if you feel that the goal is just too out there.

It's too far away.

You don't know what steps need to be taken.

And what the solar plexus loves is just tiny steps as long as it's moving forward,

As long as it's moving along its path.

Otherwise it's almost like it has this energy of,

It's pointless.

Why continue?

Why continue if I'm just going round in circles?

Why continue in this indecisiveness?

And so if you're finding your indecisive in your business,

Know that that is also affecting your business's solar plexus chakra.

Make a decision,

Even if it's just a minuscule decision,

To help it move towards its vision,

Towards the vision you have for it,

And towards its purpose,

Why it came here,

Why it exists on this earth plane.

Okay,

I think that's enough for today.

The solar plexus of a business is quite complex.

It really does cover many different facets of empowerment.

I hope that this has triggered a little bit of thought for you,

Some ideas about some steps you can take to help strengthen your business's solar plexus.
