Hey,

Welcome in.

I'm Ivy.

Thank you so much for being here today.

This is just a gentle reminder for your morning.

Maybe you're stilling in bed and comfortable and warm.

Maybe you're already up and moving around and your day has started already.

Either way,

Regardless of where your day has started or where you've been yet,

This is a gentle reminder that nobody is mad at you and nobody's angry with you.

And here's the thing,

Even if they were,

That's their responsibility to let you know.

If someone hasn't come to you and told you what's going on,

What they need from you,

It's out of your control.

So since you're not a mind reader,

Since you're just a human like the rest of us,

It is up to other people to share with you what's going on.

It's important to ask ourselves,

Are we safe people for them to come to?

And this is usually not a simple yes or no question.

This is an ongoing practice.

Of making people feel safe to come to us,

To share with us.

But ultimately,

They are going to need to step up.

So nobody is mad at you.

And if they are,

It's out of your control.

Clearly you really care about how you affect other people if you're listening to this.

Clearly you care about your relationships and want to make them work.

So ground yourself in that truth of your values.

And remind yourself with the people who do reflect that in you.

Who do say thank you so much for being there for me.

Who do make you feel like you're good and a good friend,

A good person to them.

And it's okay to ask for reassurance and ask them,

Hey,

What kind of vibe do I give off?

Does it feel like I'm a good friend to you?

What can I do better?

Practice getting and giving this feedback.

But once you can start to ground in your truth,

Using your values,

It's easier to let it go.

So take a deep breath here and we're going to get our bodies settled down.

Breathe in as much as you can.

Hold it if that feels right.

And let it out.

Good.

Go ahead and keep breathing on your own,

At your own pace.

Feel free to turn your head around or stretch out your neck,

Stretch your arms,

Your legs,

If that feels right.

Or continue to be still,

If that is where you're at right now.

And I want you to just listen to these affirmations and think about if there's any that really resonate with you.

Maybe they bring up an emotion,

So maybe you really like it,

Or maybe you hate it.

Maybe you don't like hearing it.

Those are all going to give us really good information,

All of those different reactions.

Please feel free to take whatever fits and leave what doesn't.

There's no right or wrong here.

Nobody is mad at you.

You're just a regular human being with regular human emotions and it's okay to get it wrong.

There is no expectation that you need to be perfect.

That doesn't exist.

The people in your life who know you understand what you're all about.

The people who stay in your life will stay,

And the people who end up walking away,

Or the people that you walk away from will leave.

You cannot miss out on anything that is truly meant for you.

There are people that are going to love you in new incredible ways that you haven't even met yet.

The pace of our growth is an individual process,

And you can't make that growth happen for anybody else.

You could only love them and give them a safe home to come back to.

You deserve to take up space in the world just because you're here.

You don't have to do anything to earn that.

Each day you are rewiring your brain through neuroplasticity.

Neurons that fire together,

Wire together.

You still have so much hope for a wonderful fulfilling life you can start today.

You already have by being here,

By listening to yourself.

Can you see how you're already doing the work?

Can you see how the fact that you are showing up means that the rest of the pieces will fall into place?

Have you given yourself credit today for all of the things that you've already accomplished?

For every version of you,

Every part of you,

Every age would be so proud of you right now if you let them.

If you let them know.

When those younger parts come up,

Let them know what's going on now.

Let them know the truth.

No one is mad at you.

You are not in trouble.

You're just a normal person,

And you're doing the best you can.

Remember your best means whatever you can do while feeling present and aware of your body,

Your body sensations.

You are doing such incredible work that so many people don't ever have the capacity or the resources or the energy to do.

You have made it so far.
