Allow it to be exactly as it is.
And as you sit here with your eyes closed,
Allow your awareness to expand beyond yourself.
And begin to sense the presence of this being sitting in front of you.
Perhaps you hear the subtle rhythm of their breath.
Maybe you sense the warmth.
Or maybe you simply feel their quiet presence,
Sharing this space with you.
There's no need to push or to try This is less about doing and more about letting go and allowing it.
Allow more and more of their presence to permeate your awareness.
And knowing that,
In just a few moments,
You'll be opening your eyes and looking into the eyes of this being in front of you.
Notice what is alive within you.
Perhaps there's excitement or anticipation.
Perhaps a sense of vulnerability Whatever you know this,
Simply allow it to be.
Let's take a slow and deep inhale through the nose.
In a slow exhale.
One more time.
Inhaling deeply through the nose.
And as you slowly exhale,
Allow your eyes to softly open.
And look into each other's eyes.
Inhaling together.
Exhaling together.
Allowing your breathing to become one shared rhythm.
Looking into their eyes.
What do you know this?
Can you see beyond the walls?
Beyond the stories.
Beyond the familiar image you hold of one another.
Allow yourself to see them with fresh eyes.
Perhaps you see the child within them.
Their hopes and dreams.
Perhaps their strength or their tenderness.
Perhaps even the burdens they carry.
Or maybe you see a part of them you've never met before.
And as you continue looking into each other's eyes Notice what it feels like.
To let yourself be seen like this.
In intimacy.
To allow someone.
To truly look at you.
Now slowly place your left hand on your heart.
Rest here for a moment.
How does my heart feel right now?
Breathing in.
