Welcome to this guided meditation.
Take a moment to settle,
To slow down.
You don't need to do anything.
Just listen and relax.
Find yourself a comfortable position and gently close your eyes.
Feel the weight of your body resting on the pillow.
Relaxing the shoulders.
Allowing the body to soften and relax.
Now start connecting with your breath.
Simply noticing the natural rhythm of your breathing.
As you breathe,
You begin to notice that with each breath you're going deeper and deeper inward.
Deeper and deeper.
And suddenly you find yourself in a far away land.
You are surrounded by endless greenery.
A vast jungle.
You're standing on the shore of a wide river.
Everything feels so vibrant,
So full of life.
You notice birds all around you,
In different colors and shades.
Butterflies dancing together.
You sense a special fragrance in the air,
Like fresh grass and wildflowers.
And somehow it all feels familiar.
An inner voice whispers,
You've already been here before.
You look at the river,
Its water looks so clear,
So alive,
Almost rejuvenating.
You begin to notice something stirring inside you.
A quiet inner voice,
Inviting you to enter the river.
And slowly you step into the river.
Little by little,
Your body is inside the river.
It feels pleasant,
The temperature is just right.
For a moment it feels good.
But then you notice the current.
Stronger than you expected.
It begins to move you more than you planned.
Your feet can no longer touch the ground.
And suddenly something tightens inside.
The river is carrying you somewhere,
And part of you wants to go back.
You start swimming against it,
Trying to move back toward the shore.
But it's tiring.
Your arms begin to feel heavy.
Your breath becomes faster.
It's exhausting.
And somewhere inside,
You recognize this feeling.
This effort.
This way of fighting the current.
This pattern seems familiar.
Suddenly you hear a soft whisper.
It's safe for you.
Something in you softens.
A small space of relief in between the fear.
Then another quiet message arises from within.
Stop fighting.
Let go.
Just allow.
There is something reassuring in this voice.
Another feeling begins to slowly arise.
This one is coming from your heart.
Trust.
Slowly you begin to relax.
More and more.
You take a slow deep inhale.
And a long exhale.
You tell yourself,
I am letting go.
I am just allowing.
Again,
I am letting go.
I am just allowing.
And in that moment,
Something slowly shifts.
You stop fighting the water.
You allow the river to hold you.
Everything becomes quiet.
Peaceful.
Your body begins to float.
Carried at ease.
Letting go.
Just allow.
Allow this river to take you to wherever it wants to take you.
