Gratitude can become your habit! You need to change your habits if they don’t serve you in your process of growth. Give your mind a new habit that works toward your growth. Gratefulness is a practice you can start right now! This is part of the 5-step living a jouyful life course by Nobieh.

Welcome to the Gratitude Meditation.

Sit in a comfortable position.

Bring your spine into straight alignment.

Keep your chin slightly down.

Roll your shoulders slowly back and down.

Open your chest.

Place your palms in your lap facing upwards.

Then gently closing your eyes.

Focus all of your awareness on your breath and in the space in the center of your chest,

Your heart center.

Feel your breath entering into your heart center then flowing out from this space.

Let yourself be fully present with your breath and your heart.

Breath deeply into your heart.

Open your heart center more and more with each breath you take.

Observe the connection between your inhales and the space expanding in your heart.

And as you do,

You begin to appreciate both your heart and your breath in this moment.

Be with your breath and just observe the space opening up into your heart.

In this moment,

Just appreciate your breath and your heart for all that they do for you.

Allow your breath to deepen and become more and more relaxed.

Even as you observe your heart and your breath,

Sending your gratitude for all that they do for you,

Expand that awareness into your entire body.

Being grateful for yourself,

Being here at this very moment.

Now send your gratitude to your body for allowing you to be present in this moment.

Your body is naturally taking care of you all the time.

Feel the gratitude toward your body in this moment with each breath you take.

With each exhale.

And remember,

You are alive.

With each inhale you take,

You are receiving the breath of life.

And with each exhale,

You remind yourself to be grateful for this moment of living in this amazing body.

Stay with your breath.

Observe your heart.

Observe your body.

Feed your heart expanding in the light of gratitude for each and every moment of this precious life.

Now,

Lessen and receive with an open heart,

Clear mind and relaxed body.

As I open to the possibility of what is coming into my life,

This is a good time to offer thanks for all that has come into the last cycle.

I am thanking the universe.

All the gurus,

Deities and guides I worked with.

I thank my spirit animals and anyone.

You want to give a special thanks in this powerful time.

Just go ahead and give your thanks to anyone or anything that comes into your mind in this moment.

Imagine yourself going somewhere sacred to you in nature and giving some offerings like flowers,

Crystals,

Food,

Fruits or anything special to you as a gesture of gratitude.

Then for some moments,

Feel your heart filled with the feeling of gratitude.

Open your arms,

Your palms facing up as a gesture of prayer and repeat these words.

I give thanks with open arms for all that there has been.

I open still for all that flows and comes from the unseen.

I welcome transformation.

I welcome growth.

I welcome health.

I welcome love.

I welcome happiness.

I welcome joy.

I welcome abundance.

I know what I need.

And I'm ready.

I'm ready.

Now,

Place your hands on your heart center.

Take a deep inhale and feel a big smile in your belly,

Reflecting a beautiful smile on your face.

Cover your smile into the world and remember a grateful heart is a magnet for miracles.

Stay with this feeling of gratitude and enjoy the rest of your day by seeing the reflection of your own inner smile into the world.
