Good morning!
Namaste and welcome to In The Flow with Lori Albert.
I am Lori Albert and today we are going to do a guided meditation.
I know I like to try all different types of meditations for you guys because I want you to experience different ways that you can meditate and a guided meditation is just one more sort of modality.
And you know here's the thing you need to figure out what works for you whenever you are meditating.
Some people like to be in the absolute silence and stillness which is fantastic right and that's David G has always talked about that's how he prefers you know with him with a mantra.
Some people prefer the mantra,
Some people prefer music.
For me music takes me to a whole other place but you know and then there's guided meditation and it's just where you sit back and you allow yourself to just be taken away by someone else's words.
And how beautiful is that?
That's such a trust you know so I hope you trust me today.
So yeah so let's get started shall we because it's such a beautiful meditation that I have for you guys today.
So let's get yourself comfortable.
You can sit or lie down however it feels for you.
Okay and now let's take a nice deep breath in.
Gorgeous.
Very good.
So let's close our eyes and relax our minds and our bodies.
Allow each muscle in your body to just ease starting with your head and your neck and your shoulders and arms and your hands and fingers and your chest.
Start to relax all the muscles in your chest and your abdomen.
Relax all the muscles in your body and your back and all the way down your legs your thighs calves feet and toes completely relaxed.
And now I'd like for you to imagine feeling your body beginning to float in the air leaving the chair where you sitting starting to float above and moving above your house just floating in the air above the trees and into the sky.
Allow yourself to feel the freedom and joy of not being tethered to anything on the earth.
You can float wherever you choose however you choose feeling the unrestricted motions of your body and your soul.
As we sail in flight above the earth we look to us to our side and notice the most beautiful bird has joined us and is flying beside us.
You can feel the harmony and the likeness of spirit when you are with him.
Feeling that unity of your two souls you fly along together feeling the freedom and joy that only this type of peace can bring.
So so this freedom is unlike anything you've ever felt.
It's a peace that you can feel in the core of your being.
So so so looking over at our new friend.
We know that it's time to come back to the earth and descend.
So we look over and smile knowing that we can come again and be with each other and experience this peace.
And so we begin to descend back to the earth through the trees and the clouds back down into our house in the chair where we're sitting.
Let's start to feel our bodies feel the chair that we're sitting in begin to move our fingers and toes so and we say thank you to spirit for this beautiful trip that we've just gotten to take.
Thank you spirit.
Let's take a beautiful deep healing breath bringing in so much oxygen all the way down to our toes and hold it and release it gently.
Awesome very good.
And whenever you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.

What a beautiful oh my gosh I so love the idea of floating.
The idea of flying up in the air with the birds just allowing myself to just be.
Oh there's nothing better than that.
