For the ones trying to stay human in a loud world—veterans carrying storms in their ribs, night-shift saints, single parents, exhausted minds, and anyone holding it together on too little sleep. This is quiet practice for heavy days: after the shift, before the house wakes up, in the parked car, on the edge of sleep, in the middle of a hard week. No performance. No pretending. Just a way back to center. I’m Juan Vega—a Buddhist layman, veteran, father, survivor, student, and street-level Dharma teacher. Everything I share is built from lived experience, tested in real life, and made in the kind of days you don’t post about. No theory without teeth—only what holds up when life is loud. My style is simple: Dharma delivered through story. Parables, sleep-stories, spoken word, and guided practice—because sometimes the mind opens through a narrative before it opens through a lecture. These practices aren’t escapes. They’re ways of walking awake—learning how to meet suffering, regulate the nervous system, and find a steady breath inside the chaos.
