Hey,
I'm Isaiah Gabriel.
Welcome to this short meditation called Connecting with Persephone or Ostara,
The Spring Equinox.
For this meditation,
All you need is a blooming flower,
A plant or your imagination.
Begin by placing the flower or plant in front of you,
Or if that's not possible,
Close your eyes and imagine a beautiful flower or plant.
Make yourself comfortable,
Sitting on the floor or in a chair.
Take a moment to center yourself.
Close your eyes gently and take slow,
Even breaths.
With each inhale,
Feel your body fill with new energy.
And with each exhale,
Release any tension or heaviness.
When you feel calm and centered,
Open your eyes and gaze at the flower or plant.
Or focus your mind's eye on the flower in your head.
Notice its colors,
Its delicate petals and the fresh green leaves.
Allow your thoughts to settle as you focus on the life and growth of the plant before you.
Now,
Silently invite Persephone,
Goddess of the Spring and Queen of the Underworld,
To join you.
Whisper her name in your mind or speak it softly aloud.
Feel her presence gently unfolding,
Like the first light of dawn after a long winter.
When you're ready,
Close your eyes again,
Holding the image of the blooming flower in your mind.
See it in full bloom,
Its petals soft and vibrant,
Reaching towards the sun.
With each breath,
Feel your own energy begin to bloom,
Just like the flower.
Visualize Persephone emerging from the heart of a gorgeous garden.
Her presence both gentle and powerful,
Like the soft touch of spring's first warmth.
She moves gracefully,
Her long flowing hair cascading like silk around her shoulders,
Shimmering with the light of the sun as it filters through the trees.
Her eyes,
A vibrant green,
Glisten like fresh new leaves kissed by morning dew.
She wears flowing robes in pastel shades,
Soft pinks,
Yellows and pale greens,
Blending with the colors of the flowers blooming around her.
In her hand,
She carries a basket brimming with freshly picked blossoms,
Their fragrance mingling with the sweet scent of earth,
A new life.
As she walks,
The garden seems to come alive,
Flowers turning toward her,
Birds singing a welcoming song.
Her skin glows with the warmth of sunlight and her smile radiates a sense of hope,
Renewal and the promise of growth.
Take a moment to greet her,
Feeling her presence fill the space around you,
Like the embrace of a spring breeze.
Her energy is calming yet joyful and dynamic,
Like the delicate balance of stillness and movement found in the blossoming world around her.
As she stands before you,
Release to her anything you are ready to leave behind.
Old patterns,
Fears or burdens that no longer serve your growth.
Let the spring air carry them away,
Allowing space for the new.
Share now with Persephone what you wish to bring into your life,
New dreams,
Goals and intentions that are ready to blossom.
Speak to her silently or aloud,
Expressing your hopes for growth and renewal.
Ask her to bless you with the vitality of the spring,
Request her guidance as you step into the season of growth and possibility.
Finally,
Ask for a symbol or token,
A sign of the new beginnings she is helping you cultivate.
Be still and listen.
Feel her responses in your heart or hear them in your mind.
Allow her wisdom and energy to flow through you,
Nurturing your soul and guiding you toward your path of renewal.
When you feel complete,
Thank Persephone for her presence,
Her gifts of renewal and the blessing she has bestowed upon you.
Feel her love and warmth,
Like the gentle embrace of spring's first rays of sunlight.
Open your eyes and take one final look at the flower or plant,
Holding its energy in your heart.
Sit quietly for a few moments,
Grounding yourself in the present,
Knowing that new growth is already unfolding within you.
When you feel ready,
Take a few moments to journal about your experience.
Write down any insights,
Messages or symbols you received.
Reflect on how you feel and what new beginnings you are ready to welcome.
Carry Persephone's blessings of renewal and growth with you as you step into the season of growth.
Of rebirth.
