Bring your attention to your breath and just notice the natural rhythm of your inhale and your exhale.
Allow yourself to arrive fully into this moment by letting the outside world fade into the background for a while.

Welcome to my chakra healing and activation series.
In this series we work with each of the 7 main energy centres in the body one by one,
Gently bringing them back into balance and flow.
You can use these activations on their own or return to them as a set whenever you feel cool to.
A chakra is an energy centre within your body and each one relates to a different part of you,
Your emotions,
Your mind,
Your sense of self,
Your intuition,
Your connection to life.
And when a chakra is open and balanced energy moves through you more freely and you feel clearer,
Calmer and more aligned.
Today we are working with the sacral chakra.
This chakra sits in your lower abdomen just below the navel.
It is the centre of emotional movement,
Creativity,
Pleasure.
It influences how freely you allow yourself to feel and how present you are in your body.
This centre is all about enjoyment.
It's about giving yourself permission to rest without guilt.
It's about intimacy.
It is about experiencing joy without needing to justify it.
It's about creating without pressure or outcome.
This is not about perfection.
It is where curiosity lives,
Exploration,
Playfulness.
The spark that makes life feel colourful.
The sacral chakra also shapes how you connect emotionally with others.
Your openness,
Your boundaries.
It's about your comfort with closeness to others while still staying rooted and true to yourself.
When this chakra is balanced,
Creative energy flows easily.
You allow pleasure and warmth into your life.
You feel connected to your body and feel present in your experiences.
When it is unbalanced,
You might feel emotionally numb or overwhelmed.
Your creativity may feel blocked.
Joy can feel distant or difficult to access.
You might notice guilt around rest or pleasure and you might have a sense of being out of flow with yourself.
The colour of the sacral chakra is orange.
Warm,
Vibrant,
Alive.
This is the colour of movement and life force.
So I'm going to ask you to imagine a soft orange glow forming in your lower abdomen.
This is gentle and warm.
It's like a comforting inner light.
With every breath imagine that orange light becoming richer,
Brighter.
Feel it expanding through your hips and lower belly.
As you breathe,
Your sacral chakra begins to glow.
Really connect with that glow.
A vibrant orange energy spreading through your pelvis and lower body.
You might feel warmth,
Softness,
A gentle sense of flow or maybe just some awareness gathering there.
Just let the orange light wash through this area.
It is releasing emotional holding,
It's softening tension,
It's inviting fluid movement.
With every breath let the orange light grow stronger.
Imagine it moving like warm liquid light within you.
It's really smooth,
It feels expressive and alive.
Just let this orange energy move through your whole body now.
This is reconnecting you with feeling,
With creativity,
With enjoyment,
With presence.
Just rest your awareness below your navel,
Bathed in orange light.
Imagine a soft circle of orange energy spinning there.
It starts off slowly but then it moves more freely,
Feeling balanced and fluid.
Silently repeat in your mind,
I allow myself to feel.
I welcome creativity.
I embrace joy.
Just let these words settle into the orange glow.
Just stay here for a few quiet breaths.
If it feels right for you,
Gently place your hand on your lower abdomen and just feel the warmth and energy there.
Resting in this alive and flowing awareness.
You have gently activated and balanced your sacral chakra and I want you to take a moment to notice how you feel.
Any sensations,
Any subtle shifts,
Whatever you're feeling is enough.
I also want you to gently thank yourself for giving yourself this time,
For allowing feeling,
For reconnecting with your natural flow today.
And just gently bring your attention back to your breath.
If your hand is on your abdomen,
Just bring it down to your lap.
And bring yourself back to your body,
Back to the space around you.
