Settle into this space by finding a really comfy position and gently closing your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Feeling your lungs expand fully and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Allow your body to really sink into the surface beneath you and I want you to just really try to let go of the day and any distractions that might take you away from this time that you are dedicating to yourself today.
Feel yourself becoming more present and more grounded with every breath you take.
Welcome to this full moon in Aries guided meditation.
This moon is also known as the harvest moon as it is the first full moon after the autumn equinox which is a time when the balance of day and night has shifted and we start the season of reflection and release.
This full moon is here to help you release what no longer serves you.
You might have seen the glow of the moon earlier or you might even be lucky enough to be doing this meditation outside under the glow of the harvest moon.
Wherever you are,
Whether you have seen it or not this week,
Imagine that the silver moonlight is just above you.
Feel it warming you,
Guiding you and illuminating every corner of your mind,
Body and spirit.
As you sit in this light,
I want you to think about a special gift you have,
A talent or quality that is uniquely yours.
Something that the world can benefit from.
This could be a skill,
A perspective,
A creation,
A characteristic.
Just see it clearly in your mind and imagine it glowing like a flame in the centre of your chest.
Feel its warmth,
Its energy,
The way it makes you feel alive and connected,
The way it feels so authentically you.
Just sit in that feeling for a few moments.
I want you to bring to mind an action that you have been fearing or maybe even worrying about.
Perhaps it is a step you have been feeling anxious to take,
A conversation you've been avoiding or it could be something that you've really wanted to start but you've been putting off as you really don't know where to begin.
Just feel the tension or the hesitation that this has created and then feel the harvest moon above you,
Its light empowering you,
Giving you the strength and clarity to move forward.
Notice the courage that is rising in you from within.
Feel the energy that you got thinking about your special gift and just see if it can help you with this.
This moon is here to help you take these next steps.
Now I want you to really picture yourself taking the first step.
It doesn't need to be a huge step,
It can actually be a really small one.
I just want you to connect to that feeling of starting.
Just feel the motion of moving through that fear and the exhilaration of action.
This might feel a little bit scary but I really want you to connect to the sense of opening yourself up to possibility.
Use the moonlight and allow it to fill you with confidence.
I want to remind you that the world needs your gifts,
Your presence,
Your authenticity and your unique spark.
Do you feel ready to release the fear or hesitation around really showing the world the real authentic you?
If you are,
I want you to imagine you are standing outside under the big beautiful harvest moon.
And I want you to picture any resistance you have towards this as a leaf in the wind.
See the leaf blow away in the wind and just watch as it very slowly drifts away.
Take a deep breath and feel the weight lift from your shoulders as you exhale.
And see the leaf,
Your resistance,
Continue to float away.
Just watch as it fades gently into the night sky.
Look up and let the moonlight cleanse you.
You have just left space for your gifts to shine more brightly.
For you to shine as brightly as the harvest moon.
Take a moment to breathe deeply and try to sense the connection between what you have just released and what you are ready to share.
As I'm sure you know already,
The act of letting go always creates room for action,
Growth,
And courage to flow freely.
Take a moment to feel gratitude for the lessons,
The challenges,
And the experiences that have led you here to this moment.
Imagine the moonlight wrapping gently around you.
Feel that protective and nurturing energy.
Allow yourself to see your gifts inspiring,
Comforting,
And uplifting others.
Rest in this vision for a few moments,
Allowing the moonlight to anchor the courage,
The clarity,
And the kindness within you.
Feel yourself becoming more aligned with your purpose,
More in tune with your passions,
More willing to step into your authentic self.
Gently bring your awareness back to your breath now.
Notice the rise and fall of your chest,
The sensation of your body connected to the earth beneath you.
Take a final deep inhale,
Gathering all the courage and clarity from the harvest moon,
And exhale slowly.
When you feel ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Carrying the light of this full moon into your day and into your life.
