Hey everyone!
I wanted to share a short sound healing meditation for you today just to bring some more positive light into the world and hopefully you can get something out of this and feel that positivity radiate through you and send it off to the world.
So I invite you to sit in a comfortable seat.
I'm seated on a cushion but whatever works best for you and you're going to close your eyes as I light sage and as I light this sage,
I want you to think of what you want to release,
What you want to transform and I invite you to feel the sage,
The smoke coming over you and transforming anything you'd like to release,
Releasing it and feeling it replaced with a positive emotion.
So we're going to begin with the sound healing and taking a deep breath in through the nose,
Clearing breath out through the mouth.
The first sound bowl is the heart chakra.
Feeling your heart having joy,
Positivity,
Love,
Happiness,
Placing your hand over your heart if you wish.
Now feeling that green light going down to two inches below your navel and transforming into an orange light.
Feeling creativity,
Emotional stability and now feeling the orange light going up to your heart,
Transforming into green light.
Now feeling this channel of energy releasing up and down your entire body,
Allowing the vibrations to engulf you,
Surrendering into the surface,
Feeling your soul,
That you're mostly made of energy,
Able to transform,
Able to shift,
Keeping your eyes closed,
Focusing on your breath,
Breathing that green light,
That orange light,
Healing through your body.
Radiating love,
Radiating creativity,
Asking yourself,
What can I bring into this world?
How can I make it a little bit better,
A little more positive,
Positivity?
And with that,
Releasing anger,
Releasing rage,
Releasing negativity,
Shifting your mindset,
Breathing into this feeling and imagining even if these negative emotions exist within you,
Imagine how would it feel if I was filled with positivity,
Filled with joy,
Filled with love and radiating this out into the universe.
Focusing on the sound bowls,
The healing energy,
The healing light within,
Allowing your inner light to shine and radiate outwards.
Breathing in through the nose,
Clearing breath out through the mouth.
Just feeling the sound vibrating within you,
The healing properties of the bowls.
Now you're going to envision a white light beginning above the crown of your head,
Feeling this white light traveling down through the bottom of your feet,
Breathing in from the top and out through the bottom,
Imagining as if your feet have lungs,
Continue feeling this white light engulfing through you,
The bright healing energy they are able to radiate through your soul.
Now this white light is getting bigger,
Beginning to engulf your entire body.
With your eyes closed,
Continue to envision it surrounding you,
Growing larger and larger.
The white light is spreading all around,
Through your house,
Through the room.
Think of those you love,
Imagine this white light spreading to them.
Now envision this white light spreading across the country,
Across the earth,
Imagining this white light going to all beings across the universe.
Breathing into this,
Keeping your eyes closed.
Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Now you're going to feel yourself coming back to the room,
Eventually opening your eyes.
We're going to begin the breath exercise that is going to lead us into the end of this practice.
This breath exercise is called reverse nostril breathing or Nadi Shadana and what it does is it brings you more into harmony,
Balancing your masculine and feminine energies.
So this is going to allow us to integrate the meditation and sound healing that we just did.
So you're going to take your thumb and on your right hand and you're going to place it over your right nostril.
Then you're going to take your pointer finger and your index finger and you're going to place it over your third eye sector or slightly above the middle of your eyebrows and then you're going to take your ring finger and you're going to place it over your left nostril.
So that's going to be the setup for this.
So taking our hand down,
We're just going to begin by taking a deep breath in through the nose to cleanse and open up these channels.
So breathe in through the nose,
Both nostrils,
Breathe out through the nose.
So taking your right hand,
Placing the thumb over your right nostril,
The index finger and pointer finger over your third eye or right in between your eyebrows,
A little above and then your ring finger over your left nostril and your left hand is going to be placed on your left side and you're going to be placing it with the palm up to receive.
So we're going to start by closing the right nostril with the thumb and breathing in through the left nostril.
Closing the left nostril with the ring finger and breathing out through the right nostril taking the thumb off.
Breathing in through the right nostril,
Closing it off with the thumb,
Breathing out through the left nostril.
Breathing in through the left nostril,
Closing it off,
Breathing out through the right nostril.
Breathing in through the right nostril,
Closing it off with the thumb,
Breathing out through the left nostril.
Breathing in through the left nostril,
Closing it off with the ring finger,
Breathing out through the right nostril.
Breathing in through the right nostril,
Closing it off,
And breathing out through the left.
Breathing in through the left and repeating this breath on your own for about five rounds.
Now whenever you're done with this,
You're going to place both palms down,
Facing up,
And taking a breath in through the two nostrils,
Breathing out through the mouth,
Feeling how you're able to breathe a little bit easier.
You feel a little more balanced and really feeling this way today and bringing it in to the world.
