The quieter you become,
The more you can hear.
Ram Dass Take a moment to settle into the space you are in.
Allow your body to rest naturally,
Whether you are seated or lying down.
Feel your body being supported,
Not just by the surface you are on,
But by the energy around you,
Holding you,
Cradling you in stillness.
If you haven't already,
Please gently close your eyes.
Take a slow and deep breath in.
With each inhale,
Imagine yourself drawing in the pure,
Fresh energy of the new moon.
And with each exhale,
Allow all the tension,
Heaviness,
And any thoughts or worries to gently drift away.
As you continue to breathe,
I invite you to visualize a soft,
Golden light just above your head.
Even though it's dark in the new moon phase,
You can receive this light,
Which represents the energy of the moon,
The sun,
And the universe.
It's the essence of balance and harmony.
With each breath in,
Feel this golden light slowly descending over your body,
Washing over you like a gentle wave.
It flows down through your head,
Your neck,
Your shoulders,
And all the way down to your feet.
This light is not just outside of you.
It's also within you,
Radiating peace,
Balance,
And strength.
Feel how this light,
This energy,
Connects you to the cosmos,
The vastness of the universe,
And to the quiet wisdom within your own being.
In this moment,
Know that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
In perfect alignment with the energy of the new moon.
While in this space,
Gently ask yourself,
What is it that I am ready to release?
What old beliefs or habits can I leave behind as I move into this new phase of my life?
The answer will come to you,
Whether now or later.
And trust that the universe is supporting you.
As you sit in this space of quiet awareness,
Allowing your heart to open to new possibilities with each breath,
Know that you are connected with the energy of the universe.
Take a few moments here,
Simply resting,
Knowing that you are in perfect harmony with the flow of life.
While we come toward the end of this meditation,
Bring back your attention to your breath.
Feel the rise and fall of your chest,
And notice the space around you,
The sensations of your body,
And the ground beneath you.
With a smile on your face,
Open your eyes gently,
And embrace the balance and calm that you have created.
