Preserving is not just about holding on,
But about holding on to what matters most.
Ipek Williamson Settle into a comfortable position,
Whether sitting or lying down.
Let your eyes gently close and take a deep breath in.
And then slowly exhale.
With each breath,
Feel your body gradually relaxing.
As you inhale,
Imagine the crisp autumn air filling your lungs.
And as you exhale,
Let go of any tension or stress.
You might be carrying in your physical body.
Now imagine yourself standing in a serene autumn forest.
The trees around you are tall.
Their leaves turning into vibrant shades of red,
Gold,
And orange.
Some of the leaves are gently falling to the ground.
Just as the light of the full moon filters softly through the branches.
Casting a gentle glow over the beautiful landscape.
As you stand in this peaceful place,
Take a moment to connect with the earth beneath your feet.
Feel the cool and solid ground supporting you.
Just as it supports the trees and all of life around you.
This is a place of stability,
Safety,
And connection to the cycles of nature.
With each breath,
Bring to mind something in your life that you are ready to release.
It could be an old habit,
A belief,
Or an emotion that no longer serves you.
Creating space for new opportunities and growth.
Now,
Shift your focus to what you wish to preserve.
The things in your life that bring you joy,
Peace,
And a sense of purpose.
Imagine holding these precious things in your hands like seeds.
As the moonlight grows brighter,
Feel these seeds being nourished by its energy.
Hold them close to your heart,
Knowing they will sustain you through the winter months ahead.
Finally,
Allow yourself to connect with the thinning veil between the physical and spiritual worlds.
Feel the presence of your ancestors and loved ones who have passed.
The light of the hunter's moon creates a bridge between worlds,
Allowing you to receive their wisdom and guidance.
Take a moment to listen to the messages they may have for you.
What guidance do they offer as you move through this time of transition?
Breathe in their wisdom,
And as you exhale,
Feel a deep sense of connection and support.
You are not alone on this journey.
The wisdom of those who came before you is always with you,
Guiding and protecting you.
As you begin to return to the present moment,
Take a few more deep breaths,
Feeling the sense of release,
Preservation,
And release.
Connection that you have experienced during this meditation.
Allow this energy to stay with you,
Holding space for clarity and renewal.
To fully align with the powerful energy of the full moon,
I invite you to return to this meditation three days before,
On the day of,
And three days after the full moon.
This practice will help you deepen your connection to the lunar cycle and harness its powerful energy for reflection and release.
When you're ready,
Gently and slowly bring your awareness back to your body and focus on your chest.
As it raises and falls with every breath you take,
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
And slowly open your eyes,
And open your eyes.
Returning to the present moment.
Thank you for meditating with me and welcoming the full moon from my heart to yours with all my love and gratitude.
Namaste.
