Unlike the two crystals I mention using, or the cluster or matrix shown here, I suggest using only one easy to hold crystal starting off. In order to tune in more deeply, it's probably better to pause and extend the meditation to sit longer in silence with the crystal. Do so after the initial instructions during the allotted time period around the two-minute twelve-second mark before getting into the main contemplation.

Wholeness and welcome to this crystal gazing meditation.

Before we start,

A few recommendations for picking out a crystal.

This meditation was kind of designed for more clear crystals or at least have some kind of transparency.

So today I'll be using a traditional crystal ball and then also a clear crystal point.

It might actually be citrine,

A really light citrine,

I'm not entirely sure.

I can see into these they have some translucency,

Some transparency.

I won't go into all the specific crystal terms,

I don't know all of them anyway.

But that is one consideration for picking out a crystal for this meditation.

So once you have that,

I suggest sitting for some time in silence,

Either near the crystal or if you've never done anything like this before,

Probably even holding the crystal.

So in silence and stillness,

Focusing on relaxing your body,

Being with your breath,

And then tuning in energetically to this crystal.

So some of this will be visually,

Some of it will be energetically.

So in this we're not trying to make any kind of answers happen.

If nothing happens,

We allow the question to pass naturally.

And since we can come back to this recording again and again,

We just continue looking and being with the crystal.

So let's start by just meditating for a few minutes and then I will interject some questions and considerations for this crystal meditation.

What kind of thoughts and feelings are arising about doing a crystal gazing meditation?

So,

After those thoughts and feelings are acknowledged,

Can they be set aside for this brief period?

Is there anything I need and want from this crystal?

What would happen if I asked this crystal what it needed and wanted?

Can I do this now and listen for any responses?

Where did this crystal come from?

Who are the beings involved in the existence of this crystal and how it got to me?

What is the energy like?

Like for this crystal?

Where in your body do you sense its energy?

How else can you sense its energy?

Is there any assistance you'd like to request?

Request of the crystal.

What is the physical touch like?

Is it dense,

Porous,

Rough,

Smooth,

Heavy,

Light?

With your physical eyes,

What do you notice about this crystal?

What is its shape?

Color?

What are the textures?

How is the transparency?

Is it shiny?

Is it dull?

How does light interact with this crystal?

If light reflects off of it,

Where all does this happen?

Do any reflections of light change when moved around slightly?

If your crystal is transparent enough,

What can be seen inside the crystal?

What are the shapes,

Colors,

Textures inside?

How does the interaction of light behave inside compared to the surface of the crystal?

How may this crystal have formed in the Earth?

Formed by what kinds of forces,

Processes,

Causes and conditions?

What amount of time may it have taken for this crystal to form?

How might this crystal change and over what kind of time span?

What kind of beings,

If any,

May be or may have been associated with this crystal?

Return to sensing the energy of this crystal and notice any similarities when first doing so and notice anything new now or that's no longer present.

Does the crystal have any messages to share?

Now,

As this crystal meditation comes to a close,

If called to do so,

Please offer thanks and gratitude.

In whatever ways,

In however ways,

Feel appropriate.
