Welcome to this evening gratitude practice.

I am here to invite you to reflect on the gifts of today.

Find a quiet place where you can sit or lie comfortably.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose and gently release it through your mouth.

Allow your body to relax with each breath.

Notice any areas of tension and let them soften as you exhale.

Now bring your attention to the past day.

I will invite you in a few moments to replay the day in front of your inner eye.

Pay attention to the little moments,

To the smiles,

The positive surprises and also challenges that you have overcome.

Everything you are grateful for today.

Maybe it's a conversation you had,

A meal you enjoyed or a simple moment of silence.

Whatever it is,

Recognize it and allow yourself to be grateful for these gifts,

Big or small.

Ask yourself now,

What am I grateful for today?

And let your mind show you moments,

People,

Experiences and maybe even lessons learned.

Start now and think back to the morning when the day began and then slowly go through the hours.

With each inhalation you now consciously perceive your collected moments of gratitude and with each exhalation you allow the feeling of gratitude to spread throughout your body.

Feel a gentle smile in your heart,

A feeling of contentment.

Hold this gratitude for a few more breaths.

These moments are the true richness of your life.

When you are ready,

Gently come back into your body.

Feel your whole body.

Maybe you want to start moving and gently open your eyes again.

Let the feeling of gratitude accompany you into your evening and into sleep today.

Thank you for being here.

I wish you a pleasant night.
