Welcome to day 10 of this challenge.
Over the past 10 days,
We've taken you on a whirlwind journey through the emotions that arise in people when they really acknowledge the seriousness of the climate crisis and biodiversity emergency.
We have asked you to listen to these painful emotions.
We have asked you to let yourself feel what the shock,
Grief,
Fear,
And anger are asking you to do and allow yourself to be changed by what they are telling you.
We have suggested ways that you may be able to change your own life and ways that you can join with others to make your voice heard and help repair the damage that has been done.
The changes that you need to make can not all be accomplished overnight,
But we hope that you are feeling a little more in control of what is happening to you and less alone.
Over the next few months,
You'll need to allow this process of change to carry on,
Drawing on the support of others and experimenting with new ways of living and working with others.
For now,
Be satisfied that you have gained understanding in what eco-anxiety really is.
Be pleased that you have gained skills in meditating to calm yourself and reflect on change.
And be proud that the trees planted by Ecosia as a result of you completing this challenge are out there.

Safer place.
For today's practice,
We'll do a love and kindness meditation.
Close your eyes and relax your body.
Get comfortable,
Whether lying down or sitting up,
Find a position that is comfortable for you.
Take a deep,
Full breath in and exhale through the mouth.
Allow any sigh or sound that feels necessary to release to release.
Keep repeating this for a few more moments,
Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth,
Releasing any sound that comes up and desires to be released.
In this relaxed state,
Let's turn inward and focus on your heart space.
Send gratitude and appreciation to yourself in this moment.
Now let's repeat the following phrases.

May I be supported.
May I be loved.
Send and receive the energy of these loving kindness words to every cell in your body.
Envision your body in life embodying these words.

Now bring to mind someone who brings warmth,
Comfort and joy to your heart.
Send gratitude and appreciation to this person.
