Hello beautiful soul and welcome to this meditation.
My name is Marlene and we're gonna dig deep into gratitude today in this meditation.
Practicing gratitude allows you to invite peace,
Harmony and happiness into your life.
So we're gonna start either sitting down or you can lie down on your back.
I want you to find a comfortable position.
Maybe you wiggle around a little bit,
Make some little adjustments so you feel peaceful and comfortable.
And then I invite you to close your eyes and take a deep breath into your nose and exhale gently through your mouth with a sigh.
Inhaling deeply into your nose and exhale gently through your mouth with a sigh.
And then continue breathing in and out your nose and notice how your body is feeling today.
Whatever arises I invite you to accept it without the need to change.
Quite often we are not accepting how we are,
How we feel.
And this causes usually stagnation in the body.
So in order to heal and flow,
Acceptance is the key.
And from here notice if there are any tense areas within and if you do notice a tense area in your body,
I invite you to send a healing breath on an inhalation into this part.
And when you exhale I invite you to soften this part into the ground so your entire body is soft and peaceful,
And peaceful.
Especially around the shoulders,
The jaw,
Maybe you want to open up your mouth a little bit and notice your breath for a moment.
How is your breath?
Is it soft,
Gentle?
Is there maybe some heaviness?
And whatever you feel,
Accept it.
And then let's dive into gratitude.
First of all I invite you to think back of your day,
Going back to the morning,
And remind yourself of what are you grateful for from this morning.
What has happened?
Maybe you're grateful for wakening up.
Maybe you are grateful for your breakfast.
And while you think about this I invite you to get a smile on your face.
Let's connect our emotion with our brain,
With our mind.
This is a very powerful tool.
And then I invite you to think about your body.
What is it about your body you truly appreciate?
Maybe you do appreciate your legs which enable you to walk.
Maybe your nose that you're able to smell.
And get a smile on your face thinking about this.
And then I invite you to think of something about your being,
About your soul,
About your personality.
What is it you truly appreciate about yourself?
And get a smile on your face thinking about this,
Reminding yourself how wonderful you are.
And enjoy this feeling.
And then I want you to think of a person in your life who you really like.
What is it you truly appreciate about this person?
And get a smile on your face thinking about it.
Picture the person and enjoy.
And let me tell you a secret.
Whatever you do appreciate about this person you have within yourself as well.
Maybe we already live it or you maybe have it inside hidden waiting to be shown to the world.
What a beautiful gift you gave yourself here.
And let's go bigger.
What is it in your life you truly appreciate?
What in your life you're truly grateful for?
And get a smile on your face thinking about it.
And remind yourself how blessed you are.
How blessed you are that you have ears so you can listen to this meditation.
How blessed you are that you have the technology which enables you also to listen to this meditation.
Sometimes in this hectic world we forget how blessed we are.
So it's wonderful every now and then to remind yourself of such things.
So for the day I invite you to practice gratitude while being very present.
Whatever happens to you today,
Whatever you receive,
Whatever you see,
Tune in and appreciate even the little things in life.
And you may notice a shift in your being and your thoughts.
And you may realize as well again how blessed you are.
When we tune into gratitude we experience calmness,
Peacefulness and happiness within.
Also in future whenever you may experience some difficulties in your life maybe become still and remind yourself of the good things you already have in your life.
And remember acceptance as well as a key for healing.
Tune in one more time and repeat after me in your mind or out loud.
I appreciate my life.
I am grateful.
And notice how these words feel.
And you can either stay in a meditative state.
Maybe you want to remind yourself of a few other things you truly appreciate about your life.
Or you can come slowly back into your body.
Coming back from this beautiful journey of gratitude.
Slowly start wiggling your fingers,
Moving your head,
Your toes.
And when you open your eyes I invite you to see the world with the eyes of gratitude.
So we're gently opening them after three,
Two,
One.
Look around you and see the world with the eyes of gratitude.
Thank you so much for listening and I wish you a day filled with love and joy.
Namaste.
