Welcome to your morning intentions meditation.
Go ahead and find a comfortable seated position and simply close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and exhale out.
Morning is one of my favorite times of the day,
The newness,
The possibilities,
The restart,
The sun.
And with morning comes our what we got to do list.
But before you run down that path,
I invite you to set up your intentions for the day.
Setting your intentions for the day is key to being able to handle anything that is thrown your way.
And let's face it,
We are constantly asked to solve for anything and everything that comes our way.
And at times,
It sweeps you away from what you really want out of life.
Setting daily intentions in the morning is the strong foundation you need to live the life you want.
And remember,
Life is happening for you,
Not to you.
Let's go ahead and get this thing started.
Go ahead and sit comfortably and close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and exhale out.
As you begin to settle into your seat,
Bring your awareness to your body.
Relax your shoulders down away from your ears and soften and relax the space between your eyebrows.
Let your body relax.
And in this moment,
I invite you to take note if there's anywhere in your body this morning that is holding on to stress or tension.
Take a deep breath in,
Filling up your lungs,
And exhale all the way out,
Releasing any stress or tension.
And in this moment,
I invite you to bring your awareness to your emotional state and ask yourself,
How do I feel this morning?
There's no judgment.
Your feelings are valid.
Allow yourself to name how you feel.
And in this moment,
I invite you to take note of the things that are happening in your life.
Take a deep breath in and exhale out.
Place your right hand over your heart and your left hand on top of your right.
Let your intuition guide you as you hear the next questions.
Receive and accept the answers as a gift because they truly are.
What does my heart need today?
What do I need today?
Not what you're going to do,
But what do you need?
Just take in and say what you've already found.
Understand your movements.
Learn how you feel.
Find a way to function as well.
Understand why.
Learn what to watch for.
Make progress in what's out there.
Take a deep breath in and exhale out.
Let the answers just be and accept what your heart needs today.
Take another deep breath in and exhale all the way out.
Feel your heart beating as you hold onto your heart.
Let your intuition guide you.
Where do I need to offer forgiveness today?
What is weighing on me that I can release and let go of today?
Take a deep breath in and exhale all the way out.
Feel your heart beating as you hold onto your heart.
Let your intuition guide you.
Where do I need to offer forgiveness today?
What is weighing on me that I can release and let go of today?
Take note of the answers that came within without judgment.
They're all the right answers.
Trust your intuition.
Take a deep breath in and exhale.
Continue to hold your hands against your heart.
And in this moment,
I invite you to envision your entire day from the moment after this meditation to the moment you're in your bed.
How do you want to feel throughout the day?
Pick one or two words that describe that feeling for you.
Imagine yourself writing these words down on a piece of paper.
And as you write them down,
Allow yourself in this moment to feel these words.
Now envision yourself in each moment of your day.
Bringing those emotions into every experience,
Morning time with your family,
Getting dressed,
Work,
Your text messages,
Time with kids,
And so on.
Imagine yourself in each moment of your day.
Imagine yourself in each moment of your day.
Take a deep breath in and exhale out.
Let this day be guided by clear intentions of how you want to feel.
In this moment,
I invite you to place your hands together in a prayer position by your heart center.
Take a deep breath in and exhale out as you begin to think of all the things you are deeply grateful for this morning.
Your health,
Your home,
And so on.
Now imagine yourself in each moment of your day.
Go ahead and relax your hands down by your side.
And bring a smile to your face.
Be aware that something good is going to happen for you today.
You have a deep understanding of what you need in this day and how you want to feel.
Make those feelings a priority.
You have a clear understanding of what you can release on the go of today.
Unburden yourself with what's weighing on your heart.
You are ready and set up to have an amazing day.
And when you're ready,
Feel free to open your eyes.
