(When we create from our experience of the past, we tend to repeat only what we’ve already done and known.) You will literally train your mind and body to become the future you who already has what you want.

This is Patrick Dominguez,
And welcome to this guided meditation,
A powerful tool for turning your goals and dreams into reality.
This meditation uses the same powerful principle of neuroscience that Olympic athletes and other high performers use.
And that is,
We create the future from the future,
Not the past.
See,
When we create from our experience of the past,
We tend to repeat only what we've done and known.
In this meditation,
You will see and experience what you want in the future,
As though it's already reality.
Being immersed in your future reality awakens something in you,
The part of you that is waiting to come forth into the world.
You will literally train your mind and body to become the future you who already has what you want.
You'll be pulled forward by a possible future,
And this will unconsciously call forth new ways of being,
New actions,
And new opportunities.
I've been doing this for years,
And this work is a total game changer.
Before we start,
I recommend you have something to write with,
So you can capture the insights from this guided journey.
Okay,
Let's begin.
I invite you now to just get comfortable.
And close your eyes if it's comfortable to do so,
Or hold a soft gaze.
Take a nice breath in and out.
And just letting the day go.
Letting it go.
And letting your body relax.
Starting at the top of your head,
Letting your forehead relax,
Letting your eyebrows relax,
Letting your cheeks and your jaw relax,
Letting your shoulders relax,
Letting your shoulders relax,
And your chest,
And letting your belly relax,
And your hips,
And your hips,
And letting your legs relax,
And your feet are relaxing.
As you become more and more relaxed,
You find yourself becoming more quiet and peaceful inside.
Ah,
Yes.
Letting your whole body be relaxed and letting it be supported by your seat.
And now I invite you to choose a meaningful goal or desire you'd like to bring into reality.
Allow yourself to become aware of the longing that you have at the center of your soul.
Perhaps it's a yearning for love and connection,
Or a desire to be in the center of your soul.
Perhaps it's a yearning for love and connection,
For abundance,
For impact,
Or for expansion.
I invite you to choose something you would love to have or create,
Something that would light you up or something you'd love to have just because it would feel good,
Without worrying about how it's going to happen.
I invite you to just go for the gold,
As if this was your last year to live.
Just go for something big and brave and meaningful to you,
Something that's a real heart's desire,
Or perhaps it's a legacy you want to have.
Or perhaps it's a legacy you want to create.
I suggest you choose something that has some juice for you,
Or maybe something that would be heartbreaking not to have.
And I invite you now to speak it out loud.
My intention is to have or create blank,
And fill in the blank,
Whatever that is for you.
My intention is to have or create.
Good,
And feel free to write this intention down.
And you're welcome to pause the recording if you need more time.
Now I'm going to take you on a journey to the future to visit your future self who already has what it is that you want.
Close your eyes again,
If that's comfortable to do so.
And I invite you now to travel into the future to a time where your intention has become reality,
Where it's already happened.
Allow yourself to see a picture.
What is life like when you have that goal now?
See a picture of it just the way you want it.
Make it real,
Make it vivid.
See all the shapes,
The colors,
The details of this picture,
Of life with your intention fulfilled.
Now hear any sounds around you.
What does it sound like to be living this experience?
What do you feel?
I know you have something to say.
I know you have something to say.
I know you have something to say.
I know you have something to say.
I know you have something to say.
What words are people saying to you?
Simply notice what you're hearing.
Take a slow breath in and out.
Take a slow breath in and out.
And now step into the body of your future self and look out through their eyes.
Inhabit your future self's body,
Fully experiencing this future reality.
And now how does it feel in your body to have your intention fulfilled?
Notice any emotions or feelings your future self is feeling.
Notice any sensations.
Allowing yourself to fully experience and feel what it's like to have this goal now.
And enjoy this feeling of having it.
Feeling so good.
Noticing how natural it seems.
Perhaps you feel joy or pride or peace.
Feel in your body the sense of,
Yeah,
I've got this.
And now notice the sense of,
I am that.
I am healthy.
I am loved.
I am a leader in my field.
I am a person of impact.
Notice which I am is present for you.
Who are you being in this future?
Notice how this identity feels.
Notice how this identity feels.
Notice how true and right it is.
This is who you are.
Now imagine yourself walking down the street,
How do you walk differently?
Imagine yourself talking to family and friends,
How do you experience that now?
How is that different?
And imagine yourself standing on a stage sharing your story,
Sharing a message that matters to you.
How do you speak differently?
Now I invite you to see your future self and what your future self looks like.
What do you notice about how you stand?
What expression is on your future self's face?
What qualities do you notice about yourself?
Now ask your future self,
What advice do you give to your future self?
What advice do you have for me about my intention?
What advice do you have for me about my intention?
And from this place of your intention already fulfilled,
I invite you to ask your future self this question,
What did you have to let go of to have this?
What did your future self have to let go of?
Just listening to your own intuitive knowing inside.
And now once again,
Feel the satisfaction,
The joy of having achieved your goal,
Seeing,
Hearing and feeling it as though it's already done.
And from this place,
Allow yourself to receive an answer to the following questions.
First question,
What obvious steps did you take towards this goal?
Looking back across time and space to where you are now,
What steps,
What actions did you take for your intention to become reality?
What skills did you have to learn?
What support did you get?
How did you grow?
And who did you become?
And in the place of having it now,
Ask yourself,
What is the obvious action for me to take now to move towards the goal?
Allowing an answer to come up from the space of already having it and being it.
What is the obvious action for me to take now to move towards this intention?
And notice the first answer that comes up,
It's direct from your intuition.
And when you have this next obvious action,
Imagine yourself taking it.
See yourself taking that step,
Hear yourself taking it,
Feel what it's like to take that step.
And notice how it feels to have taken that step.
And now let's bring this journey to the future to a close.
Returning back to the present time with all the wisdom you received.
And when you're ready,
Opening your eyes,
Being fully present to the room or the space that you're in.
And I invite you to get whatever you have to write with.
And I'd love for you to write down your goal,
What it is for you to let go of,
And the next obvious action for you to take.
And any other insights and nuggets of wisdom from this experience.
And as you continue to write or reflect on this journey,
I'll leave you with a thought.
The more you experience your desired future and your future self,
The more you change your brain,
Body and being to become that future and the you that you came here to be.
Wishing you well in living into your future now.
