So welcome everybody to part two of eleven.

My name is Philip Wade and this is the Self Realization Program on Insight Timer.

This session I'm entitled Beyond Belief.

These sessions are running every Saturday and Wednesday 8pm UK time.

They run through until February 5th.

So yeah,

We've had,

And this is the fourth stream in total,

But number two of eleven in 2022.

So welcome to you all and once again thank you for those who've made donations.

They're really appreciated on behalf of Insight Timer and myself.

It helps us spread the message of peace and realization throughout the world.

So thank you for that.

And just to emphasize at the outset,

I'm happy to take questions at any point through these.

If there's something that you're not quite getting or there's something burning for you,

Then do pop your questions into the comments box and an appropriate point I'll try and pick up on those and address them.

And if there's something that we're going to deal with in greater depth later,

Then I'll also state that.

So it doesn't really matter whether you've been to the previous streams or not,

But I've talked already about belief.

And when it comes to spiritual self-realization,

One thing that's important to understand is that the single and what I will call fundamentally flawed belief that all you are is the body-mind that that's the central really and ultimately only block to spiritual self-realization.

And that belief is deeply ingrained in most of us because we've been conditioned into thinking and believing that that's all we are right since the moment we were born and even to some degree energetically speaking even whilst one was in the womb.

And that belief in that is like this fiber optic link I talked about on one of the earlier live streams.

If you imagine that you,

Your body is one of these points of light and then for all the world looking outwards,

It looks like all the other body minds are separate.

And the meditative journey,

As I pointed out,

And I'll do this in brief again,

Is about looking down the fiber optic first to becoming aware of universal beingness that I call spheres of light or Hiranyagarbha in the Hindu tradition.

And then the power that drives that in the metaphor,

The battery in this case,

Which actually in truth is universal and everywhere.

It's not just,

Not just at the base here.

And that's what the meditative journey is essentially all about,

Is about recognizing an unchanging presence that is always there and is untouched and unmoved by the appearances in life.

So the belief that you're just the point of light at the end there,

That basically what that does internally and spiritually speaking,

It creates a sense of separation,

A sense of separation or disconnection from that which you truly are,

Which I refer to as variously as infinite silence,

Infinite consciousness,

Infinite awareness or true self,

The capital S non-personal self in self-realization.

So that belief creates this inner sense of disconnection which manifests in many,

Many different ways.

But this sense of separation runs very deep and leads to all sorts of issues.

One of the core ones that arises,

And everybody has this to some degree,

It will always come up on the spiritual journey.

I refer to it as a sense of,

And it's not true about you,

Of core unworthiness,

Core unworthiness and that may manifest in many ways in your life.

For instance,

Having something to prove,

Having something to prove and actually in truth,

Since one is already the infinite consciousness or the infinite silence,

There is nothing that you have to do,

Nor is there anything that you have to prove to realize that.

But that sense of unworthiness comes from,

Is one of the first manifestations of that belief in separation.

And actually at the human level,

All other beliefs and blocks that we experience on the spiritual journey are actually simply,

As a mathematical term here,

Subsets,

Subdivisions,

Sub-aspects of that one fundamentally flawed belief that all you are is this body-mind.

Every other belief is a subset of that one.

And that's why I refer to it as the single and fundamentally flawed belief and actually really the one and only block to spiritual self-realization.

It may manifest in various forms and come up in many ways on your spiritual journey,

But when you drill down,

Drill down right to the very core of it,

What you will eventually come up against is this flawed belief that you are the body-mind.

And it's the dissolution of that belief that leads to the flowering of the realization.

That belief also,

By the way,

Is also central to and responsible for all of the suffering that we experience,

All of the suffering that we experience personally and individually and collectively in the world comes from this idea of separation.

Because not only is there a sense of inner separation or disconnection from that which you truly are,

It manifests in the outer world as separation from others and beliefs that you are different or better than or indeed even worse than others.

And all of the conflicts in the world actually come from this and all of the suffering comes from this as well.

So what we do with that single core belief is that we add to it,

We add layers and layers and layers to it.

So it might start off as,

I am this body-mind.

I am this gender identity.

I am this nationality.

I am this role or this skill or this whatever.

There's many,

Many things that you can add to that.

And the realization of the self is about,

Yes,

These things might be true at the human level in terms of,

Yes,

You were born in England.

I have a man's body and all the rest of it.

But fundamentally,

All of these things are things that you have,

But they're not that which you truly are.

So the belief in the case of mistaken identity is that really,

And it boils down to it,

Is the only block to self-realization.

And all the other blocks and spiritual problems,

Should we say,

We experience along the way are all about dissolving,

Dissolving,

Dissolving like layers of an onion to get down to the very root of the matter and the dissolution of all belief in that which you are,

In that which you are not.

So belief has a lot to answer for,

And you don't need to even to believe what I'm saying here,

As I've said many times already on these streams.

As it is realized,

All of these things will start to become crystal clear.

And the realization itself is the biggest,

Oh my gosh moment in the universe.

Oh my gosh,

I,

And this I is not a personal I,

It's an infinite I,

Am that,

And that being the infinite silence or infinite awareness.

So belief,

As I was talking about in early streams,

What are we replacing belief with then?

And what I pointed out in one of the previous streams is that we're moving from belief to trust.

And that's a trust in the infinite knowingness or the infinite silence that we already are.

And that trust deepens gradually into the highest form of trust,

Which is actually,

Interestingly,

Listen to this carefully,

Not having to trust at all,

Not having to trust at all,

Because it becomes a knowing and a realizing that we are in fact already that which we have been seeking,

Which is the infinite silence or the infinite consciousness or the infinite awareness or true self or source.

We collectively are already that and that's what's realized and that's what's seen.

What I wanted to do was to give you an illustrative story about belief to kind of paint a broader picture for you and to sort of see how these things can create problems in people's lives.

And the story actually begins in my own childhood.

I was born in England in Manchester.

You may have heard of it if you're from overseas.

And actually I was brought up in at the time a Catholic family.

I left that behind a long time ago now,

But interestingly on the road where we lived,

We were,

I was brought in with a Catholic family and either side of us,

And indeed with several other houses along this row of terraced houses,

There were many Irish Catholic families who had come over from Ireland to England.

And this was the time in the 1960s of the euphemistically entitled Troubles in Northern Ireland.

And it was,

For those of you brought up in the UK,

You'll know that and of that era,

It was regularly in the news about some of the latest bombings and so forth between essentially the two parties to that dispute,

Which was the Catholic side and the Protestant side.

And so the fact that we had some Irish Catholic families living outside of us kind of brought it into a greater degree of magnification for me.

And I remember as a child being quite puzzled by this dispute,

Which it became clear to me had been going on not just a few years,

But actually in truth,

Hundreds of years.

And I came to,

And I'm not quite sure what age this was,

But probably around 10,

What I would now call an awareness experiment.

You could call it a thought experiment.

But anyway,

The thinking was having been so puzzled by this and why this dispute was going on and why people couldn't get on with each other and had to blow each other up or whatever.

The experiment that came to me in my consciousness was this.

It was what if,

And it was just simply an awareness experiment,

There was two babies born in a hospital in Ireland on the same day,

Exactly the same time to two different families.

One being born to a Catholic family and the other being born to a Protestant family.

And let's say that the experiment went in my head,

There'd been a horrendous mistake and that somehow these children got swapped.

So the one that was born to the Catholic family ended up going to the Protestant family and vice versa.

My wondering was,

Was if that was the case,

It was just a thought experiment,

You wouldn't want something like that to happen.

If that was the case,

Was it possible that the child that was supposed to have been brought up in the Catholic family,

Being brought up Protestant,

Could be conditioned,

Maybe even grow into detesting or hating the Catholic people and yet it had been born into that family.

And similarly for the Protestant child who was brought up in a Catholic environment,

Vice versa,

Could conditioning in their lives lead them to actually come to grow to dislike each other,

Maybe not even hate,

But just simply dislike or distrust each other.

Now obviously you wouldn't want something like that to happen,

But my question was,

It was,

It felt to me,

Even as a 10,

11 year old child,

Whatever age I was,

That this was in fact a possibility that actually children could be conditioned into that and that actually this belief systems that you're being brought up in,

It could have a significant influence on how you viewed life and how you experienced life and who you liked,

Who you disliked,

Why you were against certain groups of people and so forth.

Now I didn't have that confirmation that that would in fact happen,

But it felt to me like it was a distinct possibility and that actually this was in fact,

If you go back a hundred years,

This ongoing conditioning was in fact part of the continuation of the ongoing dispute in Ireland.

Now to my amazement,

Many,

Many,

Many years later,

In fact,

It was after even realisation had taken place.

I saw a programme on the BBC television here in the UK,

And this is a true story by the way,

And it related the experience of some identical twins,

Identical twins,

And their names are Oscar Stor and Jack Youf.

Now why have they got different surnames?

Well Oscar and Jack were born in Trinidad just prior to the Second World War,

And they were born to a Jewish father and a Catholic mother,

And six months after their birth,

The mother and father decided to split,

I think they must have divorced,

And Oscar stayed with his,

Sorry,

No Oscar went with his mother to Germany,

So we're in the build up to the Second World War there,

So we're in the midst of Nazi Germany,

And Jack stayed with his father in Trinidad and I think also went to maybe Venezuela,

There was certainly another country involved.

Now Jack's upbringing with his father,

Although he was of Jewish extraction,

His father,

Relatively liberal was the understanding I had in terms of background,

Although still had a Jewish father.

Oscar on the other hand was brought up in Nazi Germany and actually became a member of the Hitler Youth.

Now shortly after the war came to a close,

Jack wrote to,

He was probably about 12 years old at this time I think,

His brother in Germany after the war came to a close made contact and as he wrote to him he included no sound.

Is anybody else struggling with sound or is it just Tracey?

Can I just check?

Okay so the problem with sound is yours Tracey,

It looks like you've fixed it.

So Jack wrote to his brother and with his letter wanting to make connection with his identical twin brother,

He included a picture of himself in a scout uniform and included in the picture were a number of other boys of his age,

Including people of mixed race background.

Now this picture was an absolute momentous shock to Oscar who had been brought up in Nazi Germany and conditioned into that way of looking at the world and he couldn't believe that his brother was being seen with these people of mixed race background,

Black skin and so it was like it was amazement to him.

Anyway they ended up in adulthood meeting and talking.

They clearly had in their meeting diametrically opposing views.

Interestingly one of the things that happened when they did meet amazingly,

And this happens quite a bit with identical twins they were wearing exactly the same clothes and jacket even though they were brought up in different parts of the world,

But they had diametrically opposing views around things like religion,

Race and so forth and they could never in the remainder of their lives come to a,

Shall we say,

A joint view on that.

This had always separated them and Oscar was reported as saying was,

We believed everything that the Nazis told us and suppressed the rest.

We believed everything the Nazis told us and suppressed the rest.

So this was always things around race,

Religion,

All these things throughout the rest of their lives was a contentious point and here it was identical twins had been conditioned into different belief sets.

And in fact I think over the remainder of their lives they probably only had about two months together in total and they ended up having to come to agreement not to discuss issues around race,

Religion and so forth because otherwise it would just lead to immediate problems.

So the point of this story is to give you a practical example of how you can become your beliefs and that those beliefs can be the cause of suffering not only in you but in your relationship with others and indeed if you take it to an absolute extreme like it was in Germany prior to and during the Second World War on a worldwide scale.

So this is obviously an extreme example but if we move down the scale,

Even if you move down the scale there's always going to be suffering where belief is involved and this is why the realization of the shared unity that we all have as infinite awareness or infinite silence or infinite consciousness calls for or requires the dissolution of belief in the case of mistaken identity that all you are is the body mind and remember I said earlier all the beliefs that you've had are simply subsets of this one flawed belief.

That's how important belief is and understanding why it's a central block to the realization of the self.

So I hope that all makes sense to you.

I know that's quite a powerful story,

It's a true story.

The bit that I heard around it focused much more on them being identical twins rather than these issues around beliefs but that's the bit having had that thought experiment or awareness experiment when I was younger that really stood out for me as an absolute classical example of how being brought up in different environments and different belief sets can be the cause of suffering.

So I wanted to share that with you because it's a real life story both starting from my own experiment and then seeing it almost in practice in the actual situation there with Oscar and Jack as sad as it might be.

So that's the story that I wanted to share and what I wanted to do now if you're open to it,

I did this on a self-realization program a few years ago and I feel it's like it's worth doing now,

Is give you another dimension to what I started off with these dreams which was this who am I meditation but I'm going to change it again slightly tonight to see if anything emerges for you and to help us look at this situation around belief and the impact that it can have on you.

So if you're open to that let's give that a go you want to get yourselves comfortable and just simply close your eyes and as you close your eyes just as before becoming aware of the phenomena in your body,

The feelings,

Any emotions,

The breath and just simply and silently observing what's here now without any judgment.

And as you do that just be open,

We'll ask a few questions inside now and see if anything emerges for you.

So we'll start with who am I?

Just asking that inside who am I?

Let's be with that for a few moments and then let's take it a little bit further.

Who am I without belief?

Who am I without belief?

And just rest with that for a while and see if anything emerges.

Who am I without belief?

What I'd like to do now is just rest with that a moment more.

I'll ask one more question.

Who is the one that believes?

Good.

So let's just pause that there now.

Maybe something emerged for you.

Great if it did.

Doesn't matter if it didn't.

If anybody wants to share,

If they've got any insight on any of those,

So who am I?

Who am I without belief?

And who is the one that believes?

I can see there's one comment on there,

So I'll go through that straight away.

But if anybody else wants to pop any comments up or anything that came to them,

What Tracey is saying is I am spirit without belief.

Great news.

Great,

Tracey.

I'm glad that you've shared that.

Spirit could be another word for awareness,

Infinite silence,

Essence.

For that is before and beyond belief.

Before and beyond belief.

So there's taking away belief has opened up an awareness that there's an essence or a seeing that is beyond or before belief.

Stefan's saying,

Who am I?

The big guy in the sky.

Thanks for that,

Stefan.

Who am I?

The big guy in the sky.

I guess you're talking about the infinite there.

Humorous way of putting it.

But if that's what you're pointing at,

Then that is true.

Nonpersonally,

We are that.

And again,

You don't need to believe me on that.

So question three,

Who is the one that believes?

I'm glad you shared this.

Perfect Stefan.

I'm glad that you've said that.

Question three,

Ruth is saying,

For question three,

Who is the one that believes?

The tired one.

That is fantastic,

Ruth.

The tired one.

Let me explain why I feel like so fantastic because of how much effort is needed to uphold and defend beliefs and expectations of myself and others.

What a great seeing.

What a great insight.

I could not have put that better myself.

You see,

That is actually incredibly tiring to uphold,

To defend,

To fight for,

To keep on putting energy into beliefs.

It's tiring to be this person that we've created as an identity and to keep managing that and to keep defending one's world view of that.

So the tired one,

Absolutely wonderful.

And I'm probably going to quote this insight and story many times,

Ruth,

Many times.

But it's just so perfect.

I mean,

I was going to be going there.

So that's fantastic.

And Stefan said it just came to me.

So that was great.

Farina saying the small scared creature and that is the individual identity.

The idea that all we are is the body mind and the ego mind ultimately is always ultimately running scared.

So that's what is showing up there.

It's not a bad insight.

That's actually a confirmation of what we're talking about.

Number two,

Free and knowing.

Perfect.

So without belief,

One is free and the knowingness or the infinite awareness or the infinite silence.

Fantastic.

And then three,

Who is the one that believes?

Exactly.

Yes,

It is the ego personality.

Only that bit of points of light at the end that we believe ourselves.

That's the only one that believes.

The universe itself needs no belief.

It's infinite.

There is nothing outside of it.

And belief is something that is beyond your experience.

So it can only be the identified self,

That which you are not,

That actually believes.

And so this points us directly to the fundamental flaw in the nature of belief as it is presented in the world now.

So when we're talking about belief,

It's always coming from the ego.

Always.

It's always going to create suffering,

The tired one using the other insight.

So great insights here.

The one who believes is the ego mind says Patricia.

Exactly,

Exactly,

Perfectly.

Perfect is the ego mind is only that.

And then Verena is saying agree wholeheartedly with Ruth.

Exhausted.

And I'm not surprised you agree with Ruth.

It is exhausting to be this small idea,

This contraction.

And it is a contraction.

Belief leads to a contraction from the infinite to the finite.

And to maintain that requires an intensity of thought and belief that actually is very,

Very tiring.

It doesn't make any wonder why we become stressed and tired with that sort of energy going into that all the time.

And not only trying to maintain it for ourselves,

But then we've got others who are projecting their belief systems onto you.

That's what we do.

That's what we do.

And interestingly,

When I did this a few years ago,

One person at the monastery in Manchester where I was leading this program said to me,

Is belief like a kind of armour?

And a great insight that is belief like a kind of armour.

We use belief as an armour to protect our version of the world and try to fend off all these other belief systems.

But the energy required to do that is so extensive that it is exhausting.

It is exhausting.

And the ultimate conclusion of it is actually war.

On an international scale,

Beliefs end up with war.

That's where it goes.

On a personal scale,

It might involve falling out with friends,

Family,

Siblings,

You name it.

That's where belief takes you at the individual level and all the various points in between.

And again,

You don't need to believe me on this,

Just reflect upon or reflect upon your own insights.

So who believes?

Stefan is saying no one.

Well there is some truth in that,

In that this identity isn't really real.

It's an imagined reality.

And if that's what you're meaning there Stefan,

Then it's a kind of like,

This is often why we call it an illusion.

It feels very real,

But ultimately from that it feels real.

It's both real and unreal.

Looking at the personality clouds are seeing.

Exactly Tracy.

If we look at life through the lens of the identity of the ego mind,

What we see is a clouded view.

It's like looking through a scratched lens and you're not seeing the whole picture.

So that's what belief does.

It's like looking through a scratched lens or a clouded view of reality.

And then Ruth is saying it came through instantly,

So it had to be spirit happy.

It was useful.

Fantastic.

Well,

I'm glad it came.

These things,

When these little meditations,

They're really all different versions of the same one,

But I put different spins and angles on them.

And usually what happens is something comes up,

When it comes up instantaneously like that.

In this you can trust because it's not gone through the filter of the mind.

And often it's a surprise.

So like this word,

The tired one,

Probably wouldn't have thought of that consciously,

But there it popped into awareness,

Popped into consciousness.

And with that comes an energetic imprint,

An information,

More information around it,

Which you subsequently expanded upon.

Vereena is talking about internal conflict.

And that is again,

A function of belief.

And that's the sense of inner conflict that arises from this sense of separation that comes from believing all that we are is the body mind.

So that inner conflict ultimately results in outer conflict,

Whether it be with friends,

Family,

And ultimately on an international scale,

It ends up with war.

That's the story of belief.

That's the story of belief.

That's the scale of belief.

I like the armor analogy too,

With respect to beliefs,

Very helpful.

Yeah,

Good,

I'm glad you like that.

It was a good insight from somebody on that program.

Another one that I'm going to share that I remember standing out for me when they shared it on that same program.

One person had like a vision of a pawn,

You know,

Like a pawn in a chess set.

It was a bit like an armor.

And then this pawn,

This concrete casing,

As the awareness of the belief dissolved,

It shattered.

And what was left was just space.

So by trusting awareness,

The seeing,

That belief system does shatter.

It may shatter in all in one go,

Fairly rare,

More often than not,

It's a dissolution,

A gradual dissolving of buying into a story that you hadn't necessarily consciously been aware of,

You've been buying into.

And so it tends to fall away in layers for most people,

And one starts to see more deeply,

More clearly,

Feel more peaceful.

And by the way,

Belief is also responsible for your emotional body.

So disbelief in the case of mistaken identity,

The sense of internal conflict upon that which gives rise to fear,

By the way,

Upon that all the emotional body is built.

And so when we have challenging experiences and we believe that we are the person that experienced those things,

Then this creates a buildup of energy in the emotional body.

And so dissolving belief is also central to dissolving emotional suffering and trauma associated with it.

And I'll be talking about that at length in one of the later streams.

So this belief thing has got a lot to answer for.

Marina is saying,

Just today I was asking to see life through God's eyes,

And then you've put four,

Or is that four,

Good requests,

Because those eyes,

The true seeing is actually that which we truly are.

And I explained on a previous stream that I don't often use the word God because it can easily be misunderstood,

But if we mean God in the sense of the infinite,

Infinite silence,

Infinite consciousness,

Infinite awareness,

Then this is a much more accurate pointing to the use of that word.

So you can see all of this stems from belief.

And when we can see and recognize that actually all the beliefs,

All of the issues,

All of the suffering is stemming from this one flawed belief,

The case of mistaken identity,

Then whenever we're facing something and issues and challenges arise,

We can be sure that at the very root is that fundamentally flawed belief.

And we start to open to seeing from the place that is before or beyond that in the fibre optic lamp,

The seeingness in front of which all the phenomena appear.

And that's what the meditative journey is about,

That's what the realization of the self is about.

And as that is recognized and as that is realized,

Then all of the other stuff inevitably starts to fall away.

This process may take some time,

But that's okay.

As long as we keep on trusting the deepening and the seeing,

Then we will come to that place of knowing it's inevitable.

It's actually inevitable anyway,

But we can aid the process through meditation and spiritual inquiry.

And spiritual inquiry,

As I've said in previous streams,

Fundamentally comes down to the question,

Who am I?

There may be many aspects to that question,

And they're all worth asking,

Because they all come,

All of the questions come from the identity and all of the seeing and all of the wisdom comes from within,

And within being the infinite silence or the infinite awareness or the infinite consciousness.

And so I've got a particular session dedicated on this program to spiritual inquiry,

Where I'll look at that in greater depth.

So I trust that's all making sense to you.

We've done quite a lot of talking,

Or I have,

So what I would like to do now is take you into a meditation,

Deeper into meditation.

We'll do that and then we'll see where we fit with that,

And then I'll share some other things that have evolved since the last session,

And we'll see where we go from there.

So if you want to get yourselves comfortable,

And then just simply close your eyes,

And once again becoming aware of the phenomena,

Feelings,

Emotions,

The breath,

Physical sensations,

Maybe there's some thoughts there.

These are simply appearing,

And there's a presence,

An awareness that simply watches.

That there is one that is before and beyond belief.

And just from your heart now,

Nothing you need to do here,

Just be open from your heart to the experience of spheres of light,

Spheres of light,

Or simply the spheres.

Nothing to visualise,

Just be open.

And this energy of the spheres,

Or spheres of light,

Is the pure state,

I am,

I am,

I am,

I am.

And even this beingness of I am,

The infinite I am,

Can be sensed or seen.

And that which sees this I refer to as the silent witness,

The silent witness.

Allowing your attention now to merge with this silent witnessing presence.

And this silent witness itself is like a sliver of ice.

In an ocean of water.

And it's dissolving.

Melting with the water.

And the water is an ocean of infinite silence.

Just like you dived into the ocean and completely and utterly merged with it.

And one with the silence,

The infinite awareness.

Resting here.

Being open to this.

In silence,

You will realise your truth.

In truth,

You will realise you are silence.

Infinite silence.

Be still.

And know.

This.

This rarified atmosphere of silence.

Transmutes.

Transforms.

All that you are not.

Immersed completely now in,

As and through this infinite.

Silence.

Be still.

And know.

Only this infinite silence.

In silence.

One is already this realising not seeking finding not searching seeing not looking already this infinite silence eternally this never has there been a time when you were not this never will there be a time when you are not this this eternity itself here now all beliefs dissolve in the light of this awareness effortlessly and silently here now silence and just continuing to rest in that just allow the beauty of this heart music to move into your being knowing the infinite awareness remains silence silence silence silence silence silence silence silence silence silence silence silence silence silence silence silence silence silence and continuing to rest in and as this open awareness this infinite silence knowing it remains untouched unblemished unmoved eternally present and in a moment I'll ring the Tsing Sha bells three times Ting Ting Good.

And as the sound of the Tsing Sha bells has faded away aware of your body,

The chair,

Your satin,

Or whatever you may be,

Lay on aware of the space,

Resting in and as awareness and if you haven't done so,

Whenever the moment is right for you just gently opening your eyes Namaste So thank you for joining us in that meditation and thank you.

I've just seen a few donations come through there.

Thank you.

So Ruth and Susan and anybody else who's made donations on behalf of myself and Insight Timer It's deeply appreciated because it helps Insight Timer run the app and myself continue to develop more videos,

More resources and the technology required to do these streams.

So thank you so much for that.

It's deeply appreciated the donations.

So I can see a few comments coming up.

Tracy's saying so beautiful,

Endless joy,

Gratitude and blessing.

Stefan's saying thank you and Ruth is also saying thank you.

If anybody wants to share anything about the meditation or your experience or any questions from what we've covered then pop them in the comments.

So anything there,

Feel free to do that.

Just to mention,

As I mentioned earlier,

Previously I hadn't realized that replays of these streams aren't automatically available on Insight Timer,

Which was a bit of a surprise.

However,

Due to the wonders of technology and with the help of a friend and input from Insight Timer,

The very first one I did,

Which was on the 22nd of December which was entitled What Does It Really Mean To Go Within,

Has now been created in an audio only format and uploaded onto Insight Timer.

And originally they weren't meant to be available until mid January until the holidays were finished.

But I noticed today that that one has now been approved.

So actually,

If you missed any of the earlier streams,

You can now watch that one or listen to it.

What does it really mean to go within?

Because it helps teal the rest of this program.

So do take a look out for that one.

What really mean to go within?

It's literally gone live on my profile today as an audio.

Somebody asked last time about creating a group and I wasn't familiar with Insight Timer groups,

But I had a go at that.

And there is a group called Nothing Special,

Which is part of the title of this program.

And hopefully my other it is.

And in fact,

If you want to join the group,

It's a private group.

I've set it up as an experiment and a trial.

That's the link to it.

I think I because it's private,

I have to approve all of the people joining.

What I've done is set out some kind of basic information to the context for the group point of connection,

A point of being able to ask questions which will share on the streams.

It's not about trying to solve each other's problems,

But being open to that.

So that link there,

I think will take you to the group.

And what I've done is done a couple of posts.

One is that what does it mean to go within audio replay as one of them?

And another one is a short video.

In fact,

The very first no,

Not video audio.

I put on insight timer.

It's called trusting and daring not to,

Which I mentioned last time.

So I'll draw out various resources if people join the group.

If people don't want to join the group,

That's fine.

I'll close it.

But if you want to engage,

Possibly pose questions that I'll pick up on the lives you can do.

So that's the link to it that I've just put in the comments there.

Just a reminder,

These streams for this program are twice weekly.

So what Wednesdays and Saturdays,

Currently 8 p.

M.

UK time.

So the next one is this coming Saturday at 8 p.

M.

UK time.

What we're going to be doing is extracting an audio from each of the ones so that we can at least have audio replays.

I'm hoping at some point inside time will allow you to access the video replay icon.

But apparently you can't,

Which sounds slightly strange,

But there it is.

So what we'll do in the meantime is put audio and somebody is helping me do that.

And we're going to try and turn those around fairly quickly.

But it still has to go through the approval process.

So please do use those and share those.

Verena saying much gratitude for your teaching in love and service.

Thank you very much.

It's a joy for me to share Verena.

It really is.

It's an unexpected calling as far as my life was concerned.

My fast life was very.

Let me put that link in again.

Paste Patty or Patricia.

It should be immediately below your comment.

And the group is called.

I'll put that type on in.

Nothing.

Special.

I don't know.

It's private as I settle.

What happened there?

Sorry,

I lost that.

It's called nothing special.

You have to type out the dots and slashes or it won't go.

I'm not quite sure how to do that then.

If you look out for the group name,

You might be able to find it.

I don't think anybody.

I'd be surprised if any other groups are called this.

It's called nothing special.

And again,

Because I'm not familiar with groups on insight time,

I'm hoping you can simply request to join it.

It should be on your profile as well.

OK,

So look for my profile.

And Ruthie saying there's probably a link to it.

There is called nothing special.

And you'll have to kind of click to want to join.

And then I'll check and let people in on that basis.

I've made it private for the time being.

The group name is embedded in insight time.

It's certainly part of insight time.

So I'll just type the name once again.

I didn't click the right thing last time.

That's the title.

I'm hoping you can see that I might be able to get you the actual link.

You just bear me a moment,

Folks.

I'll see if I can get an actual link.

That might be another way of doing it.

Groups.

Right.

I'm going to copy this from my browser.

And see if this works.

OK,

So Ruthie's saying if it's inside of the inside,

It should work.

So hopefully it will do.

You might therefore find it on my profile.

I've pasted in the full URL there,

But I don't know if anybody can see it.

The other thing I was going to pick up on things to look out for on my profile that are relevant to this.

There's a relatively recent post posted audio.

It's called the Self-Realization session of the sixth International Yoga Festival.

So I was the Self-Realization speaker on that.

It's about a half an hour long recording.

It's quite a useful summary of Self-Realization.

And I really also would recommend that you look at a short video,

Which I call Fish Discover Water Last.

Fish Discover Water Last.

It's a Self-Realization story come metaphor that is quite unique,

I think,

In the way that it shares it.

And it helps you see clearly what it is that we're all seeking.

So do look out for that one.

Fish Discover Water Last.

Is there anything else for me to say?

Yeah.

Other than to say the next session is this coming Saturday,

Whatever date that is 8 p.

M.

UK time.

And the next one looks like I've entitled Infinite Silence.

So I'll be exploring further depth on that each time adding another angle of view,

Another perspective,

So that you can help to sort of see more fully what it is that we're talking about.

And then the later ones,

There's Transmuting Fear Into Love,

Spiritual Inquiry,

A whole session on trusting your heart,

One exploring are you on the right path?

Another deep dive into emotions,

Relationships,

Kundalini and life meditation.

So lots more to come,

Folks.

I think that's pretty much it from me.

Thank you very much for joining.

Thank you for the donations.

They're deeply appreciated.

I hope you all have a good afternoon,

Evening or morning,

Wherever you are in the world.

I'll sign off with a little bit more music.

But this has been session two of eleven Beyond Belief on the Self Realization Program.

Thank you so much for being here.

I'll see you all on Saturday evening,

8 p.

M.

UK time for the next instalment of this Self Realization Program.

Thank you so much to Insight Timer and everybody here.

Namaste.

Namaste.
