Welcome,
Today we're going to tap for when we feel discouraged.
And this is a little bit more nuanced than just feeling sad.
So discouraged comes with many different ways of being,
And you most likely will have to pull up a situation in your current life or in the past where you have felt discouraged,
Like you weren't sure if you could keep going in the way you were.
So if you take a nice big deep breath in and let it go as you close your eyes,
Just pulling out from your current life or from memory a time that you felt discouraged,
Noticing where you feel that in your body.
Go ahead and give that a rating,
Zero being no disturbance,
Ten being the highest.
You can open your eyes and we'll begin to tap.
Even though I'm feeling discouraged,
I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
Even though I feel the heaviness of discouragement in my body,
I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
Even though I feel discouraged,
I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
All of this discouragement,
Sometimes I wonder if it's worth it to keep going,
But I know that I have goals and dreams that I want to accomplish.
And even though I feel discouraged in making this happen,
I trust I can keep going.
I feel like I need to force through situations and discouragement to get to the other side.
But what if it's okay to relax?
What if it's okay to rest until I don't feel discouraged anymore?
I notice in my discouragement that there are times of hope,
Times of excitement and clarity where I am not discouraged.
I notice the ebb and flow of the experience of discouragement.
I can rely on myself to find solutions and I can rely on others to cheer me on.
What if discouragement is the last step before a breakthrough?
I look back at other times in my life when I have felt discouraged and I realize I have always figured it out.
Answers are coming my way.
This discouragement is temporary.
I deserve clarity.
I am open to peace even though I feel discouraged.
Part of me knows I can do this.
Part of me knows that I can trust the flow.
This discouragement is just an experience.
And this experience is temporary.
I allow some expansion in my body.
I release this feeling of being discouraged.
Take a nice big deep breath in and letting it go as you close your eyes,
Tuning back into that feeling of being discouraged.
Being curious,
Just noticing how it has shifted or changed.
Go ahead and rate it again on a scale of zero to ten.
Zero being no disturbance,
Ten being the highest.
