Welcome.

I appreciate you who decided to meditate with me.

Chronic fatigue syndrome can be very hard to handle.

Even when hypersensitivity is as low as to allow listening to this recording,

Living with CFS is isolating.

I'm here with you and all the other meditators going through a similar experience.

Often we are found overcompensating tiredness by keeping busy physically or mentally and rushed into getting the energy levels higher.

And often it works the opposite way.

Together,

Let's lean into the fatigue.

Notice your body.

Does it feel heavy inside?

Tearful?

Weak?

Nauseous?

Sleepy?

Set?

Painful?

Numb?

Tired?

Which part feels the most of it?

Your head?

Neck?

Chest?

Back?

Stomach?

Toes?

Arms?

A moment to appreciate how much your body is holding.

Which part is feeling the least fatigue?

Feel that place to support the rest of the body and let's take three luxurious breaths together.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Yes,

I see you are exhausted or as tired as rest.

Let's embrace restlessness.

Imagine yourself in a soothing place.

Where would you be?

A home?

In a forest?

On the moon?

On a bed?

See yourself there,

Held by a blanket.

Nature,

Also the kind human being.

It's a calm,

Relaxing warmth.

You are held still.

Breathe in safety.

Stay in that embrace for as long as you need.

Come back with a sigh when ready.
