A soothing practice that invites you to let the ground support your body. As the breath slows and contact deepens, bracing softens, tension unwinds, and you are reminded that you do not have to carry everything alone.

This is your time to rest,

To soften,

To let go of any weight you've been carrying by allowing the ground to hold you.

And so starting by lying down or sitting back into a seat that supports your whole body,

Somewhere you can relax.

Taking a slow breath in and letting it fall out of your body with ease,

In through the nose and out through the mouth,

Allowing yourself to fully land right here.

And as you continue in this way,

Starting to feel the points of contact between you and the surface beneath you,

Your feet,

Your back,

Your shoulders,

Trusting in that support.

You don't have to carry yourself right now,

Letting gravity take over,

Inhaling slow and steady,

With each exhale softening a little more,

Muscles loosening,

Back sinking deeper into that support,

Letting your jaw unclench,

Safe to let go,

Safe to trust in that support,

Knowing that you don't have to hold it all together,

Safe to let go,

And noticing how your breath feels now,

Letting it be soft,

Natural,

Steady,

With each exhale feeling your body settling a little more,

Letting yourself be held,

There's nothing wrong with needing support,

You don't need to earn it,

You just need to trust in it,

Feeling your body sink,

Your thoughts dissipate,

Your breath soften,

Nothing to do,

Nowhere to go,

Just being right here,

You and the breath,

Continuing to soften into that support,

Trusting in it a little more with each breath,

Noticing how it feels to be fully received,

Without judgment,

Without performance,

Just breath,

Just presence,

Just rest,

Taking as much time here as you want or need,

Only when you're ready,

Wiggling your fingers and toes,

And slowly returning to your space,

Carrying with you that sense of being deeply supported,

Of being held.
