This practice is for those in between moments,

When you don't know how you feel,

When everything's too tangled to name,

Or too quiet to feel anything at all.

You're not wrong for being here.

This space is still sacred.

And so let's start by finding a position that feels comfortable.

You can sit or lie down in any way that feels supportive.

And once you do,

Letting your hands rest,

Letting your shoulders drop,

Letting your face soften,

And starting to take a slow breath in through your nose,

And allowing a gentle exhale through your mouth,

Continuing in this way,

Allowing each exhale to be even slower than the one before.

There's nothing to figure out here,

Nothing to solve.

Just life,

Just breath,

Just being.

And now bringing your attention inwards,

Without searching,

Just sensing what's here.

Maybe fog,

Maybe numbness,

Maybe a hint of sadness or tension,

Or simply nothing at all.

Whatever you notice,

Letting that be okay.

And whatever you notice,

Breathing into it,

Being in your body,

Being with your breath,

Being with what's here in this moment.

If feelings arise,

Welcoming them.

If nothing changes,

That's okay too.

Let the breath be a support,

Each breath creating more and more space,

Trusting the unfolding,

And then locating a neutral place in your body,

And bringing your attention there.

Maybe it's the hands,

The feet,

The rise of the breath in the belly,

And just resting your attention there,

No need to dive deep,

Just staying present,

And then letting go of that practice,

And gently returning to your normal breath,

Noticing what's here now,

And not making any experience wrong,

Taking as much time here as you want or need,

Only when you're ready,

Starting to feel the space around you,

And the steadiness inside you,

As you slowly reorient yourself to the space.
