This meditation is an invitation to step out of the noise and return to the stillness beneath it all. Guided by the breath, you are gently led away from the surface of thought, allowing awareness to settle into the quiet that is always here, where you can rest, feel supported, and simply be.

In a world of constant sound,

Constant doing,

Constant motion,

This is your place of stillness.

A return to the quiet within.

And so starting by finding your resting place.

Somewhere that says,

You don't have to try here.

You can be sitting or lying down,

But once you've found your place,

Making any adjustments that you need in order to get even 1% more comfortable.

And now taking your attention to your breath,

Inhaling gently through your nose and exhaling softly through your mouth.

And just continuing in this way,

Letting the breath take you off the surface of life,

Dropping you a little deeper.

Letting your breath be your guide,

Taking you beyond the monkey mind,

Nothing to figure out here.

Just being with your breath,

As it guides you deeper into yourself,

Just this breath and the space beneath it.

And now gently starting to scan your body,

Not to change anything,

But to settle even more deeply into presence.

Feel your feet,

Let them rest,

Feel your legs,

Let them be heavy,

Taking your attention up into your belly,

Letting it rise and fall like tidewater,

Letting your body soften into the rhythm of breath,

Letting any thoughts pass by like clouds in the sky,

They get to pass through,

But you don't need to follow them,

You can rest beneath them,

In the silence,

In the spaciousness,

In the quiet within,

The quiet between sounds,

The stillness beneath sensation,

Letting yourself rest here,

Letting yourself dissolve into it,

You're not your thoughts,

You're the space they arise from,

And the silence they return to,

And the space beneath it,

Allowing the pause between inhale and exhale to gently expand now,

Allowing yourself to rest in that pause,

That breathless pause,

Resting in the hush of your own being,

Just being right here,

In the stillness,

In the quiet,

In the deep hum of your own aliveness,

Letting it wrap around you,

Resting inside this quiet,

Letting it nourish you,

This quiet is always here,

Beneath the noise,

Beneath the pressure,

Beneath the chatter of the mind,

Staying here for as long as you want or need,

Only when you feel to,

Taking some gentle movement through your body,

Before opening your eyes and returning to your space,

Bringing that quiet with you,

Letting it walk with you,

Letting it speak through you,

You get to move through life in this way.
