It is easy to lose track of your energy throughout the day. Use this short body scan over and over again to find your center and reset your nervous system. It works immediately. The more you practice, the easier it will become until you find yourself doing it naturally. If you practice regularly. you will notice enhanced focus, a boost in energy, and less stress in your day-to-day life. It only takes one or two minutes to start feeling better and to reclaim your power. Just remember to breathe.

Find yourself in a comfortable position that can be standing seated or laying down.

Close your eyes,

Take in a deep breath as big as you can.

Hold it and let it out with a big sigh.

Feel your throat and chest rumble.

Do that two more times.

Take a breath in,

Hold and let it out with a big rumble through your chest and throat.

Clear out your thoughts and find your center.

Begin to breathe in and out through your nose.

Find your breath in the back of your throat.

Breathe slowly in and even slower on the way out.

Take your awareness from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head as you breathe in.

As you breathe out,

Take your awareness back down your body to your feet.

Notice your body.

Notice how you feel right now in this moment.

As you continue to breathe,

Imagine a colorful light glowing inside of you.

When you breathe in,

This light fills you up.

As you breathe out,

You become empty again.

Continue to breathe.

Notice how you feel.

And when you are ready,

Open your eyes and take a few more big deep breaths.

Pay attention to what your thoughts are doing.

Pay attention to where you are emotionally and notice how your body feels.

This is how you do a body scan.

Practice this throughout your day to reset your nervous system and find your center.

And remember to breathe.
