Hello,
In this short meditation you are invited to pause,
You are invited to just be.
You may find a comfortable position sitting or lying down for the next few minutes.
And if you like you can close your eyes and slowly turn your gaze inward and let it be a loving and caring gaze directed at yourself.
Let go of what is already in the past,
Let go of what might happen in the future.
And then say hello to your breath,
Any which way it shows up right now.
Just notice the speed of your breath,
Where in your body does it show up predominantly?
Does it flow easily or is it strained?
And for a moment can you be grateful or even in awe of this gift?
Your breath,
Your life force energy,
Your connection to the world around you.
You are invited to deepen your breath,
Taking a slow and steady inhale through your nose,
Pause,
Exhale softly through your mouth.
Can you repeat in your own timing?
Inhaling slowly,
Pausing briefly and exhaling softly.
No beginning,
No end.
Follow this cycle quietly now.
Let go of deep breathing and return to a more natural rhythm.
Take time to observe what has changed in your body,
In your mind,
In your spirit.
And keep that loving gaze towards your breath and repeat silently the following mantra.
Every breath is a new beginning.
Every breath is a new beginning.
And keep repeating in silence.
Feel your breath,
Prana,
Life force energy.
Every breath is a new beginning.
You may gently release the mantra and pause.
What is present?
Silence,
Stillness.
And slowly and gently place one hand on your heart space and for a moment just feel the warmth,
This loving gesture,
The connection and listen.
And now invite an intention from your heart into your awareness,
A heartfelt wish or even a new beginning for the remainder of your day.
In the mind's eye and with your next deep inhale,
Plant this wish in your heart.
And as you exhale,
You let go.
Trust your intention is already realized,
Accomplished,
Achieved.
Feel that and enjoy this precious moment at ease,
Calm,
Peaceful.
And one more time,
Take a loving,
Very slow,
Deep inhale and soft and complete exhale.
Breathe into your fingers,
Into your toes,
Wiggle them,
Even the tip of your nose,
Stretch,
Yawn,
Sigh it all out.
And remember,
Every breath is a new beginning.
