For this meditation,
You have the option to jot down your experience at the end.
If so,
Have a piece of paper or journal nearby.
Let's begin by finding a space where you can lay comfortably without distraction.
Now find your level of comfort.
Maybe have a blanket close by and use as many pillows as you see fit.
Allow your body to settle into this space.
Start to take a slow breath in.
Pause for a moment and open your mouth.
Exhale.
Full slow breath in,
Belly rises.
And exhale,
Allowing the belly to fall.
Last one,
Inhale,
Belly inflates,
Slow and steady.
Pause.
Exhale out the mouth,
Belly deflates toward the spine.
This is the holy fire healing experience.
Think about an issue you would like to have healed.
If the issue were located in your body,
Where would it be?
If this issue were a shape,
What shape would it be?
Trust the first answer you come up with is the right one,
As there are no wrong answers.
Does the shape have a color?
Does the shape have a weight?
Does the shape have any sort of texture?
Is it pokey?
Is it smooth?
Is it glossy?
Does the shape have a temperature or a sound?
I will guide you through the meditation.
It's a beautiful day,
Warm and sunny.
You're walking down a path in a beautiful forest.
As you breathe into yourself,
You breathe in the life energy of the forest.
And with each step you take,
Feel the energy of the earth flowing up through the bottoms of your feet.
As you walk along,
You notice another path going off to the right,
And you feel compelled to follow this path.
As you follow this path,
You come to a clearing in the forest,
And in the middle of the clearing is a small hill covered with tall grass.
You climb up the hill and feel the grass rubbing against your legs.
When you get to the top of the hill,
Lay down in the tall grass.
Feel the grass and the earth beneath your body and gaze up into the sky.
Gaze up into the sky and see the beautiful white clouds.
Suddenly you see a beautiful beam of light that begins to shine down.
This is no ordinary light.
It comes from the highest of heavens.
The light shines all around you and flows into you,
Filling you with warmth and feelings of safety and love.
The light focuses directly on the shape you've identified.
Focus on the shape and be willing to let it go.
Now gaze directly into the light and as you do so,
The light begins to guide you.
Follow the light.
