This is a Horizon inspired meditation and I'm really glad you're here.
Take a moment to ensure that your feet are connected to the floor.
Make sure your back is nice and straight.
And just take a moment this morning to notice how your whole body is feeling.
In awareness,
Honor the night sleep you've just had.
And take a really long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
Really filling your lungs and your stomach with that breath.
And as you breathe out,
Just let go of any tension from the night before.
And allow your awareness to rest now on your breath.
Perhaps noticing the energizing sensation as you breathe in.
The breath of life of energy.
And take your awareness now to your heart space.
And imagine that every breath in is waking up your heart.
Vibrating all the cells in your heart.
Imagine this energy,
This vibration,
This waking up,
Spreading out from your heart across your shoulders.
Down your arms,
Down to your hands.
Waking up every cell in your body.
With your awareness resting on the palms of your hands,
Notice the tingle of sensation.
Your body alive with energy.
And imagine this vibration flooding your torso.
Moving down your legs,
Down to your feet to connect with the floor.
Imagine this aliveness,
This energy flooding your neck,
Your throat.
Moving up through your mind until you can feel your whole body is alive with energy.
Connecting again into your heart.
Really feel into your heart this morning.
Open your heart to gratitude and love.
And bring to mind three things in your life that you are really grateful for.
And as you do,
Turn the corners of your mouth up to a gentle smile.
Really feel into the gratitude,
Love and support of those things in your life that you are really grateful for.
And connect in once more to your heart space.
In this moment,
Bring to mind the day you have ahead of you.
And perhaps set yourself an intention to carry forward throughout your day.
Rubbing your hands together now to create a warmth from the friction between your hands.
Place the palms of your hands over your eyes.
And slowly open your eyes behind the palms of your hands.
And whenever you're ready,
Let your arms float down.
As you take a look around the space that you find yourself in this morning.
Just look around,
Just be here now for this moment.
Use your gentle curiosity,
Your mindful awareness.
Shake out your hands,
Shake out your arms.
Stand up,
Stretch and shake the whole body.
Waking the whole body up ready for this day.
With your heart full of gratitude,
Your mind alive.
Move forward today with a sense of calm,
Grounding and energy.
