Transcript

This is a Horizon inspired meditation and I am really glad that you're here.

Just take a moment to settle into your body,

Into your posture.

Just take a moment to check in and notice what you need.

Gift the body,

The mind,

The heart this moment of surrender.

Nothing to do but show up as you are.

Nothing to change.

And when you're ready,

Just gently close the eyes.

And take your first long,

Slow,

Deep breath of the meditation,

Taking the breath down to the belly.

Really expanding the lower half of the body with that breath.

And as you breathe out,

Just allowing the weight of the body to start to drop.

Feeling into the support of whatever's holding you.

Allow a wave of relaxation and surrender to move through the body.

Softening the muscles,

Giving the body permission to find stillness.

And take another long,

Slow,

Deep breath down to the belly.

Breathing out with a sense of letting go,

A sense of arrival.

Really allowing yourself to be here now.

Nowhere else to be.

And start to become aware of the physical sensations in the body.

As the breath moves through,

The breath comes and goes.

Without trying to control the breath in any way,

Just be the observer.

Watch as the breath moves through you.

Become aware of the sensations of the breath as the body expands and contracts.

Noticing the subtle sensation of the ribs as they expand and contract.

Noticing the subtle sensation of the belly as it gently rises and falls.

And notice how the belly rises before the chest.

And as the belly falls,

The chest falls.

Becoming aware of this soothing,

Calming sensation of the breath moving through the body as a wave.

Almost as if the breath comes from the belly.

Breathing belly to heart.

And letting go heart to belly.

Finding your centre,

Finding balance.

Allowing breath to be the invitation to come into alignment.

To arrive in this heart,

This body,

This moment,

Exactly as you are.

Bring any thoughts,

Sensations or feelings to move through your experience.

Allow your breath to be your anchor,

Breathing belly to heart.

And letting go heart to belly.

It's okay to be here.

It's okay to surrender into your own support,

Into your own love.

You're right where you need to be.

Just for a moment breathe.

Breathing belly to heart.

Letting go heart to belly.

And letting go heart to heart.

Breathing belly to heart.

Breathing belly to heart.

And letting go heart to belly.

And letting go heart to heart.

And just noticing how it feels to meet yourself in this space.

To meet yourself in this quiet,

This surrender.

Can you soften and fall into your own love just that little bit more?

Feeling yourself as you find you.

And just breathing.

And then I surrendered.

Freed myself of the burden of trying to become more than I am.

Let go of striving to be just that little bit more.

I sunk my roots deep and felt into the abundance that already surrounds me.

And gasped at air as if waking in a dream.

Breathing for the first time in a while.

I arrived home in this body exactly as I am.

Take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath right down to the belly.

Expand that lower half of the body with breath.

Start to offer your awareness to the physical body once more.

Really feel into the body.

And just offer a sense of gratitude for all this body does.

And offer a sense of gratitude to these eyes,

These ears,

This heart.

And just place both hands over the heart.

And start to allow the corners of the mouth to turn up slightly.

So a gentle but honest smile forms on the face.

Notice the eyes smiling.

The heart smiling.

Every cell in the body smiling.

With gratitude for this body,

This heart,

This mind and all that you are.

Keeping that gentle smile,

Close your meditation with one last long,

Slow,

Deep breath.

And I hope you have a really wonderful day.
