So start by taking a moment to relax your body.
Soften any unnecessary tension in your body,
In your shoulders,
Relax your spine,
Your jaw,
Rest your hands in an easy,
Effortless way.
With your eyes open at first,
Take a few moments to scan the space you're in.
And slowly bring back your attention to your breath while focusing in the middle of the room where you are.
Take a deep breath in and a slow,
Deep exhale.
Take a deep breath in and a slow,
Deep exhale.
Take a deep breath in and a slow,
Deep exhale.
Take a deep breath in and a slow,
Deep exhale.
Take a deep breath in and a slow,
Deep exhale.
Take a deep breath in and a slow,
Deep exhale.
Take a deep breath in and a slow,

Take a deep breath in and a slow,

And now you can let your eyes close,
Taking in all that you've experienced and just letting your attention go inwards.
Gently focusing on the sensations of the breath moving in and out of the body.
Let your awareness ride the wave of the breath wherever you feel it most naturally.
And as you're sensing your breath in and out,
You may also sense that your mind is as vast as the ocean,
Where deep in the ocean beneath the surface it is calm and clear.
Can you notice all those feelings,
Thoughts and emotions?
They are just there at the surface,
Coming and going quickly in and out of your awareness.
Just like the waves at the top of the ocean.
And with your breath,
Just like that,
Bringing you back to a peaceful place.
Gently facing the reporter.
And now when you're ready,
Take a couple more mindful breaths and then you can let your eyes open when you're ready.
