Hello.
I'm glad you're here with me today.
And I mean it.
Out of everything you could be doing right now,
You chose to stop,
To slow down,
And to give yourself this moment.
And this is not a small thing.
So just let yourself arrive.
You don't need to be anywhere else.
You don't need to figure anything out.
You just need to be here for the next few minutes.
Find a position that feels comfortable.
You can sit,
You can lie down,
Whatever feels right for you today.
Just make sure that your spine feels open,
Like you're giving your chest a little room to breathe.
Let your hands rest and close your eyes.
Let's start with something simple,
Just breathing.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Something easy.
Again,
Breathe in.
And let it go.
One more time.
And let it go.
This time,
Really let that exhale to be a release,
Like you're putting down something heavy you don't even realize that you are carrying.
Now,
Just let your breathing find its own rhythm,
Not force,
Just the natural flow.
Notice how your body knows how to do this on its own.
Your heart is beating.
Your lungs are breathing.
Your body is taking care of you right now.
Even when you're not thinking about it.
Isn't that kind of amazing?
Now I want you to bring your attention to the center of your chest,
Right there,
Your heart.
Place your hand there if you feel like it.
Feel the warmth of your own touch.
Feel it rise and fall with each breath.
And just notice what's there.
Maybe a gentle pose.
Maybe just a sense of something alive and steady right in the center of you.
Breathe into that spot,
Slowly,
Like your breath is going directly to your heart.
And as you exhale.
Let your heart soften,
Like you are unclenching something you've been holding for a long time.
Breathe in into your heart.
Breathe out and let it open.
Now stay here,
Right here.
I want you to think of a moment when you felt completely loved.
Or when you loved something or someone so deeply that it almost felt like too much to hold inside.
Maybe it was a person.
A friend who showed up for you when you were really in need.
Parent or a grandparent who looked at you like you were the most important thing in their world.
Maybe it was a moment in nature,
Sunlight on your face,
The ocean,
A perfect quiet morning.
Or maybe it was you,
A moment where you were proud of yourself.
When you did something kind for someone else and felt it light you up.
Whatever comes to you,
Let it come.
Don't judge it,
Don't overthink it.
Now,
I want you to breathe that memory in.
Slowly through your nose like you are breathing in the feeling itself.
Breathe it all the way into your chest,
Into your heart.
And as you hold it there for just a moment,
Ask yourself.
.
.
How does this feel?
Does it feel warm?
Does it feel soft?
Does it feel like something opening up in your chest?
Let that feeling grow.
You don't have to do anything except let it be there.
And exhale slowly.
And as you breathe out,
Don't let that feeling go.
Keep it inside.
Now bring that memory that you have chosen back into your focus.
Really see it and feel it.
Where are you in that memory?
Who is with you?
What does it sound like,
Smell like?
What does your body feel like in that moment?
Let yourself be there again,
Fully,
Like it's happening right now.
Because to your heart it is.
Your heart does not know the difference between a real moment and a remembered one.
So what you feel is what your heart responds to.
So feel it,
For real.
Breathe it in again.
Into the center of your chest.
And this time,
As you breathe in,
Imagine that feeling becoming a little brighter,
Like a light turning on inside of you.
The light is warm,
Golden,
And it glows.
Hold it for just a second.
And exhale slowly.
Maybe another memory comes to you.
A child laughing,
A hug that lasted a little longer than you expected.
A message from someone that said exactly what you needed to hear.
Or maybe it's something simple,
The smell of your favorite food.
A song that brings you back to a good time.
Let all of it live in your chest right now.
Don't pick just one.
Let love have many faces here.
Breathe it in.
Let your heart hold it.
And breathe out.
Stay here with me for just a little longer.
Notice how your body feels different than when we started.
Maybe your shoulders are more relaxed.
Maybe your face seems softer.
Maybe something in your chest feels more open.
This is what love does to you from the inside.
This is your whole body shifting,
Your thoughts becoming clear,
Things that felt heavy and difficult beginning to feel a little lighter.
Breathe in once more.
Feel your chest completely.
Feel that warm light,
The love.
This is yours.
You made it.
You felt it.
And it's real.
Now,
Here's the fun part.
I want you to imagine that warm glowing light in your heart starting to grow slowly.
It moves from your heart into your whole chest,
Into your belly.
Into your shoulders and down your arms,
All the way to the tips of your fingers.
It moves up through your throat,
Your face,
The top of your head.
Down through your hips,
Your legs,
All the way to the bottom of your feet.
Your whole body is filled with that lightening,
This warm,
Loving energy,
Every single cell.
You are not just feeling love.
You are made of it right now.
You Now let it grow a little more.
Let it expand beyond your body into the room.
Let it touch the walls,
The ceiling,
The floor.
Let it move out through the windows,
Into your home,
Into every corner,
Every room.
Your home is filled with that loving energy now.
Let it keep going out into the street,
Your neighborhood,
The houses next to you.
The people near you who might be having a hard time,
Who might really need this.
You are sending it to them without saying a word.
Let it keep spreading over your city.
Over the land.
Like a wave of love.
All the way around the world.
Imagine this love touching everyone who needs it today.
Every person,
Every living thing,
Everywhere.
You did that from your heart right here in this moment.
Now take a gentle breath in.
And slowly,
Whenever you're ready,
Begin to bring your awareness back to the room,
To your body,
To the feeling of your hands and fingers,
The sounds around you.
Take your time.
No rush.
When you open your eyes,
Carry this with you,
Not as a memory,
But something still alive in you,
Because it is.
You are love and you just felt it.
And you can come back here anytime you want.
I will be here.
See you next time.
