Today I'm going to take you on a visit to your very own special fairy.
All of us have a special fairy who looks after us.
Some people also call them angels.
It doesn't matter whether you call them fairies or angels,
They are beautiful caring beings who take care of us and help us or give advice to us whenever we need them.
I would like you to get comfortable.
You can either be sitting up or lying down,
As long as you can remain quiet for a little while.
Close your eyes and keep them closed if you can.
Now let us take three slow relaxing breaths together to begin.
Take a long slow breath in and out again.
And another deep breath in and out again.
Let's do that one more time.

Imagine that you are standing in front of a very tall majestic tree.
The tree is taller than a house and when you go closer to the tree you see that there is a door in the side of it,
Just big enough for you to go through it.
You reach out and push the door open.
There is a winding spiral staircase going up and up inside the tall tree.
The staircase is lit in a soft glow and looks very welcoming.
Let's see where these stairs go.
You take the first step and another step,
One step at a time you are moving up the stairs.
Another step up and another step up.
Higher and higher you go into the strong welcoming tree.
Another step and another.
In the distance you can see the light getting brighter.
At the top of the staircase you find a cozy round room.
Tiny light shimmer all around you.
On the floor there is a soft rug and a heap of squishy pillows.
You sit down and make yourself comfortable.
You spend some time looking at all the pretty lights lighting up the room around you.
You enjoy stroking the soft rug below you and the feeling of sinking into the soft squishy pillows.
Then you think how nice it would be if you could have a friend with you in this lovely room in the tree.
It would be wonderful to have someone to talk to in this cozy welcoming space.
You look around you one more time and then you realise that you are not alone.
Sitting next to you and slightly behind you is a fairy with the most amazing wings that you have ever seen.
Now that you have noticed her,
The fairy gives you a beaming smile.
It seems as if she is glowing brighter and brighter.
Hello and welcome to this magical tree the fairy says to you.
You realise that she is not moving her lips when she speaks but that you can hear her speaking in your mind.
It is as if you can hear her thoughts.
Can you hear my thoughts?
You think quietly without speaking the words out loud.
Yes I can,
You hear her answer and I would love it so much if you would tell me something about yourself.
It can be anything,
Something that happened to you today or something that makes you happy or even something that makes you sad.
Let's take a few quiet moments so that you can think about what you would like to tell your special fairy with your thoughts.

You slowly get up and walk over to the staircase.
When you look over your shoulder,
The fairy waves at you.
Now you head back down the staircase.
You take the first step down and another step.
One step at a time you are moving down the stairs.
Another step down and another step down.
Onwards you go towards the door in the tree where you started.
Another step towards the bottom and another.
In the distance you can see the door where you first entered the tree.
You walk out through the door and find yourself standing outside the tall,
Majestic tree once again.
Your hand reaches for the little box in your pocket.
You slowly pull at the ribbons around the box and then it is open in the palm of your hand.
What is inside?
What is the special gift that the fairy gave you?
Perhaps it is the answer to the question you asked her.
Perhaps she has given you a beautiful thought or her best wishes for something that you need to do.
Remember that your special fairy always knows exactly what you need.
Let's spend a few quiet moments together so that you can think about your fairy's gift.
Open your heart to feel the magic of the gift that your fairy has given just to you.
