Good morning.
Wherever you are,
Moving through the early quiet,
Pouring your coffee,
Getting ready or already on your way.
Let this be a soft beginning.
Don't have to change anything.
Just let your awareness arrive.
Take a slow breath in and let it fall out.
Let your body land where it is.
Feel your breath drop a little lower.
Feel the pace inside you settle.
Nothing to fix.
Just a gentle arrival.
Let your spine lift just a little.
Feel the kind of lift that feels more like remembering than effort.
Let your shoulders soften and let your jaw loosen.
Let the back of your neck lengthen.
Feel your body become a little more available.
Now let your energy gather closer in.
Not tightening.
Draw your energy in.
You don't have to give yourself away today.
You get to begin from your center.
Your energy is your own.
And you get to decide where you want to spend it.
Take a breath here where all of your energy is gathered.
And ask yourself gently,
What do I want to feel like today?
Not the tasks.
Not the doing.
Just the feeling.
Steady,
Open,
Clear,
Joyful,
Whatever arises,
Let it land in your chest.
Now imagine yourself beginning your day with this feeling in your body.
Not a scene you have to picture,
Just the tone moving into you.
In your breath.
In your steps.
In the way you meet the morning.
And deepen your breath on the inhale.
Draw the inhale down into your belly.
And exhale,
Open the mouth,
Let it fall out.
Hold that feeling,
That tone in your space.
The inhale draws in.
To the bottom,
Bottom,
Bottom.
The exhale falls out.
This allows you to begin your day from yourself.
Clear.
Steady.
And here.
And that's enough.
If it is available to you,
You can take your hands,
Rub them together in front of you.
Another inhale.
And an exhale.
Place your hands onto your heart area.
And breathe into that space.
Feel the ease.
Feel the space that was created.
The awareness of having the intention.
And anytime you feel pulled away from that,
You can reset.
Maybe you bring a hand to your heart and take a breath.
Or maybe you loosen your jaw.
Or maybe you roll your shoulders.
But you'll be able to come back to this intention.
To this space.
To this tone.
Thank you for practicing with me today for your 10-minute morning meditation.
I hope you have a great day.
