Hello everyone and welcome to this guided meditation and sound journey to bring in the new year.
This is a journey of letting go,
Receiving and opening yourself up to new possibilities.
As we move through this journey together,
I offer the suggestion to not fight whatever comes up for you.
Let everything be exactly as it is,
Without trying to change it,
And simply be a witness to your experience.
Allow yourself permission to journey to wherever the mind and body need to go.
Through this sound and stillness,
You can reset,
Ready for the new year ahead.
So,
I invite you to begin by making yourself comfortable,
Either seated or lying down.
Create your own little cocoon.
You might like to pop a pillow under yourself,
Or drape a blanket over your body.
Do whatever you need to make yourself cozy.
When you feel ready,
I invite you to close down your eyes and begin to turn inwards.
Make any final movements before finding a place of stillness.
Scan the body now for any areas of tension and simply let these go,
Softening into the present moment.
Just notice,
How do you feel in this moment?
What is present for you here?
You might like to start to bring your awareness now to your breath,
Just noticing the rise and fall of your body and finding comfort in the consistency of the breath as it moves through you.
Know that at any stage,
You can come back to your breath as a place of safety and comfort.
Start to breathe deeply now,
Inviting the air to explore every nook and cranny of your lungs.
With each inhale,
Feel the whole body expand.
With each exhale,
Release the year that was.
Taking a deep full breath in,
Filling your body with love and hope.
And a long,
Slow breath out,
Letting go of anything that no longer serves you.
Again,
Big full breath in,
Breathing in love and hope.
Long,
Slow breath out,
Releasing what no longer serves you.
Let it all dissipate,
Making room for the light of new possibilities.
Checking in with yourself again and how you are feeling.
What are you grateful for in this moment?
What can you let go of in this moment?
What version of yourself can you step into now,
Ready for the new year ahead?
I invite you to visualize this dream version of yourself.
Who would you like to be?
What qualities would you like to possess?
How would you behave?
What actions would you take?
Imagine this dream version of yourself in your mind's eye now,
So vividly that you can feel it,
Embody it,
Soak up every part of this version of you.
How would your life change if you achieved all of your dreams and let go of what was holding you back?
What changes would you need to make today to step into this version of yourself?
Know that this version of yourself already exists within you.
As you continue to notice how you're feeling,
Gently bring your awareness and your attention to the sounds that are around you.
Notice the sounds that are near and the sounds that are far away.
You might even be able to tune into sounds that are within you.
Everything is sound.
Every atom,
Every cell and molecule within us vibrates at a certain frequency.
When these frequencies are disrupted,
Maybe from stress,
Unhealthy relationships or limiting beliefs,
It can lead to imbalance within our body and mind.
Sound holds the amazing power to realign these frequencies.
So simply let go now into the sounds with the intention of stepping into this dream version of yourself as you let go of whatever might be holding you back.
Release the year that was and make way for new possibilities.
Let the beauty of these sounds wash over you.
Feel the earth cradling your body,
Providing everlasting support.
Allow yourself to sink deeper into the earth,
Thanking Mother Nature for her grounding energy and strength.
Sinking deeper into relaxation,
Opening your heart to receive.
Surrendering to this dance with the universe,
A symphony of letting go and inviting in the new.
Enjoy these vibrations and I will gently guide you back when it is time.
Simply noticing how you feel in this moment.
Can you feel the energy moving through your body?
Can you sense any shifts within?
Take a moment now to tune back into your intention.
This new version of yourself you are calling in.
Know that you are stepping into this energy right now as you align with your highest self and manifest your dreams.
Take a big full breath in,
Filling your body with love and hope.
And a long slow breath out,
Letting go of anything that no longer serves you.
Slowly now,
Bringing your awareness back into the room.
You might like to gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
Taking a few deep breaths.
And when you feel ready in your own time,
You can gently open your eyes.
