Welcome to our Spring Cleaning the Soul guided meditation.
I invite you to make yourself comfortable in an upright position before we begin.
In this meditation,
We will be detoxing our mind,
Body,
And soul by releasing heavy physical and emotional attachments from our past.
This will give you the opportunity to create space for new seeds to be planted for a fresh start.
A rebirth of who you are without the weight of your past holding you back.
We will begin this meditation with a full body scan.
We'll start by bringing our awareness down to the tips of our toes and feet.
Wiggle them around a little bit and observe how they feel.
Be mindful of any restrictions in your movements or areas that are more tight than others.
Simply observe and be aware about how they feel as you continue bringing your awareness up to your calves,
To your knees and thighs,
And then into your hips.
Gently move your legs around and observe how your entire lower body feels.
Explore the feelings in your legs.
Are any areas more tight than others?
More tense or stiff?
If so,
Let's bring our focus on that one specific spot that caught your attention and repeat after me.
I thank you for bringing this feeling to my awareness.
I feel the discomfort in you and that is okay.
You are now free to relax.
We will take a deep breath into this area.
Hold our breath for a moment and feel the oxygen swirling around this spot.
Then we will exhale,
Releasing all of the tension.
Now take that deep breath into the area of discomfort.
Feel the oxygen flowing through it.
Now a deep exhale as you release all the heaviness in your lower body.
We'll take another deep inhale into the area of discomfort.
Feel the oxygen flowing through it.
Now a deep exhale as you release all the heaviness in your lower body.
The lower half of your body is now completely relaxed and detoxed.
We will continue with our scan.
Now observing your stomach and chest,
Feeling how they rise and fall with each breath you take,
Moving your awareness into your shoulders,
Down your arms and into your hands.
Roll your shoulders forward and backward.
Feel your wrists and fingers as they lay comfortably in place,
Observing every sensation within your body with kindness and presence,
Noticing every area you may feel restriction or tightness in,
Bringing your awareness to your neck and your head.
Are you experiencing any tension there?
Any tightness in your jaw?
Maybe a fogginess in your forehead?
Simply be mindful of your entire upper body and where you notice any discomfort.
Now keep your focus on the area that's surfaced during your upper body scan.
We will take a deep breath in and hold it for a moment while imagining the oxygen circulating around the discomfort,
Allowing it to be released with your exhale.
Deep breath in,
Imagine the oxygen flowing inside,
And exhale the tension.
Deep breath in,
Imagine the oxygen flowing inside,
And exhale the tension.
Now with your mind still focused on this spot,
Repeat after me,
I thank you for bringing this feeling to my awareness.
I understand that you are uncomfortable and that is okay,
But now you are free to relax.
Consciously directing our breath allows us to fill these stagnant areas with oxygen and new life,
While each exhale releases a CO2 and pressure.
Now that we've completely scanned our entire body,
Let's take a large breath in together and feel your entire stomach and chest expand with oxygen.
Imagine this oxygen is filling every inch of your body with new life,
And as you exhale,
Releasing every bit of stress and tension you may have been carrying with you prior to this very moment.
Let's inhale the new life,
Hold it for a few seconds.
Now release your past and all the weight it had in your life.
Inhale the new life,
Hold it for a few seconds.
Now release your past and all the weight it had in your life.
Your lower and upper body are now completely relaxed and we have created the space to plant seeds for a new beginning.
Now I want you to think of an aspiration or goal you hope to achieve this next year.
Visualize this dream clearly in your mind and imagine yourself condensing it down into a small glowing seed at the center of your mind.
Watch as this glowing seed lowers from your mind and finds its way into your heart where it latches on,
Planting your dream into the center of your heart.
Now feel your heartbeat as it pumps life into the seed,
Pumps life into your dream,
Breathing gently into the experience.
Feel as the seed begins to sprout throughout your heart as its roots flow down your body into the ground below you,
Grounding your dreams into the earth so that they may grow strong in the future.
Observe your heartbeat again as each pulse gives your dreams life and helps it grow stronger with every beat,
Flowing life down into your roots.
Focus on feeling this dream of yours expanding into reality as the flower begins to grow from the roots,
Watered by your heartbeat and intention.
The vines of your manifestation begin to grow up through your body,
Wrapping your bones and muscles around in the soft comfort of your dreams.
Every heartbeat watering your creation more and more,
Allowing the vines to become stronger with every beat as the bulb of this beautiful dream prepares itself to blossom into the world.
Visualize the vines flowing back up through your spine,
Protecting your heart and making its way to the top of your head.
And as this vine reaches your head,
I want you to visualize a flower blossoming from the top,
Expanding out of your mind and pouring your aspirations and goals into the world.
The radiant light from the seed of your dreams is expanding out of your thoughts and into reality.
Your seed has been planted and your flowers are in bloom.
Your new beginning starts here.
From this point on,
You may continue the process of planting more seeds,
Of more goals and aspirations on your own,
Or just simply enjoy the sound bath.
