Hello,
My name is Nia Harris of Healing Us Evergreen,
And welcome to this grounding meditation.
Allow yourself to settle into your body,
Wherever you are at this time,
Closing your eyes,
Lowering your gaze,
Bringing your attention to the nature of your breath,
Watching your inhales and exhales,
And begin to call your energy into this present moment,
Bringing yourself away from any past conversations,
Any pending or upcoming projects,
From the activities of your day,
Just allow yourself to be here and now.
You are right where you need to be,
And all that you need is right here.
You will ground down with a few rounds of deep breaths,
And as you breathe,
Just notice how you can use your breath to connect to your center,
Connect to the earth,
And connect to spirit right now.
So inhale,
Expand your belly,
Hold it at the top,
And then exhale fully,
Completely,
And again,
Inhale,
Fill up the belly with breath,
And through the mouth,
Exhale fully,
Completely releasing,
And one last time,
Let's breathe in,
Deeply,
Fully pulling in the breath,
And then let it all go with an exhale,
Return to your natural breathing,
And just observe lightly,
Neutrally,
Enjoy existing here and now,
There's nothing you have to do,
Give yourself permission to simply be in this moment,
And to close,
We'll take one last breath together,
Sealing in this calm and attentive energy we've created,
Breathe in through the nose,
And breathe out through the mouth,
