Greetings.

My name is Nia with Feelingness Evergreen and welcome to this practice on earth reverence.

To be in reverence with all of creation is to be re-enchanted,

To be in honor,

Devotion and respect.

It is deep,

Spiritual and comes from inside.

You may begin to get comfortable in your seat or lying down wherever you are.

You may be relaxing your chest,

The shoulders,

Releasing the jaw,

Bringing your attention to the breath,

Tuning in to your inhales and exhales.

And let's take a deep breath together,

Inhaling,

Filling up the belly and exhaling,

Letting it all go.

Begin to notice the sensations around you right now.

Perhaps you may observe near or distant sounds,

The air on your skin or clothing,

Any scents or aromas lingering,

Just opening your awareness,

Your experience in this moment.

As you rest here,

Allow thoughts to flow as you think about the blessing it is to be here in your body,

The gift it is to be here safe and sound,

Aware and attentive,

Whether you're alone or in community.

As you take in this moment,

Maybe you invite the presence,

Someone dear to you,

A family member,

A friend or a neighbor,

Or even our global community in Congo,

Sudan,

Haiti,

Palestine,

The Philippines,

Hawaii,

Wherever they may be,

To be here with us in stillness and in peace.

Let us be reminded of our shared experience,

Of our shared responsibility to our collective healing and liberation of the earth.

Allow your heart to fill with gratitude and send love to those near and far,

Past,

Present and future,

Who have been separated from their ability to exist peacefully,

To steward land,

To tend to the earth,

To practice their traditional medicines,

To have their hands and feet in soil and water,

To plant seeds and watch their flowers bloom,

Hold space to honor that which is our inherent birthright,

And yet currently during this time is also a privilege.

Breathe deeply into the nose and exhale,

Releasing,

Relaxing.

Listen to the multiple truths of this moment and allow any emotions to arise.

May this invigorate you to embody your purpose,

Your calling to be of service,

To be in deep relationship to the earth in this lifetime.

As we close,

Expand your awareness again,

Listening to the sounds around you,

Feeling the ground beneath your feet or seat,

Tuning in to the vibration of the earth.

Send gratitude to this planet.

Send gratitude to the creator for this body that holds us.

May slowly bring movement back into your body,

Reintegrating into your space and returning to your day at your own pace.
