Welcome,
Beautiful heart,
Back to another guided meditation here with your host,
Harrison.
Today's intention is love without losing yourself.
This will be a 20-minute guided meditation for family boundaries,
Self-trust,
And remaining yourself.
Closing your eyes when you are ready.
And let us begin as we always do with our first mindful breath together.
And.
.
.
Continuing for now,
Breathing at your own pace.
Getting even more comfortable in the sitting or lying down position that you find yourself in.
And allowing yourself to get there.
Heavy with,
Your body heavy with,
Softness heavy with.
With awareness.
Around your physical body.
And taking another big deep breath with me breathing in and Perhaps today you have found yourself here in this meditation.
Because there are people in your life that you love deeply.
Family.
Friends that you would call family.
Partner,
People that matter to you deeply.
And yet sometimes being around these Souls,
These beings,
These people in your world can feel complicated.
Their worries become yours,
Their emotions,
Their expectations.
Become heavy on your heart.
You want to help,
You want to care,
You want to be there.
Somewhere along this path.
You lose yourself,
You abandon your own needs.
We are here too.
Come back to yourself.
To love deeply.
To find the middle ground.
Taking another big deep breath in.
We will do now a couple of rounds of even more intentional box.
Breathing where we will breathe in for four,
Hold for four.
Out for four,
Hold for four.
Let us begin our first round.
In for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
1,
Holding for 4,
3,

And out for 4,

Out for 4,

And 1.
Coming back into your own breathing rhythm.
And in the space of.
Conscious breath.
Notice.
Your center.
Notice.
Your inner voice.
Like this.
Your inner.
Nothing.
This knowing that is your compass.
This knowing that helps you.
Please.
Boundaries with love.
So we can start now with this connection to our inner space.
I invite you to imagine.
Yourself.
Standing in a beautiful garden.
A garden where.
.
.
Flowers,
Uh.
.
.
Trees are swaying,
The air feels.
Peaceful.
This garden represents your inner world.
Your energy,
Your time.
Your emotions.
And most of all,
You're important.
Around the garden.
Is a living.
Hedge.
Not a brick wall,
Not a prison.
A living,
Alive.
Boundary.
You see that the hedge has small gates.
And these gates open and close.
With your choice.
They open and close.
When you.
.
.
Side.
Some people are invited in.
Some remain outside.
And all of this.
Is okay.
All of this.
Is design.
Breathing into this understanding.
See yourself walking through your garden.
Notice how beautiful it feels when Your inner world is protected.
Notice how different this feels from having no boundaries at all.
Boundaries do not.
Make you less loving.
Boundaries do not make the garden less vibrant and alive.
It's beautiful,
Intentional.
Boundaries allow everything to happen.
To flourish,
Everything to continue to grow.
They are often the very thing that allows your love to remain healthy.
So here with me,
Let us breathe in this boundary truth.
Breathing in.
And out feeling the safety.
Breathing in.
And out feeling the beauty.
Within your garden,
Within this beautiful balanced space you now see.
Moving through the middle of your inner garden,
A stream.
A stream,
A watery stream of.
.
.
Compassion.
As you see this compassion stream.
I invite you to place one hand.
On your heart.
And as you do,
Bring to mind someone you love.
Someone you cherish.
Perhaps this someone is going through difficulty.
Perhaps this someone is.
.
.
A family member that you worry about.
Perhaps this someone is someone intimate and close that you wish you could fix.
And as you have this person in your awareness.
Notice what happens in your body.
Any tension,
Pressure.
Sadness,
Guilt,
Anger,
Or anything in between.
Whatever arises in relation to this person.
I invite you in this moment.
In your garden.
Replacing their worries.
The emotion that is connected to them.
In your stream of compassion.
Replacing them and letting go.
This emotion,
These thoughts.
Go.
Because you don't care.
Because in this moment you get to release what is not yours.
Watching.
The stream.
Carry everything.
That weighs heavy.
Feeling that you can love deeply.
You can love intentionally.
Without carrying everything.
Without becoming responsible.
For every thought,
Every feeling and emotion that they share with you.
Breathing in.
And.
.
.
Breathing in.
And out.
Feeling.
Your hands still in this compassion stream,
Still in your garden with beautiful flowers.
Flexible boundaries.
And with your hands in the water.
Starting to notice any old beliefs.
That you carry.
In relationship to.
.
.
These important people in your world.
Beliefs such as,
I must keep everyone happy.
I shouldn't disappoint anyone.
My needs are selfish.
I have to carry everything.
And all of the variations and versions.
That apply to you.
See them.
One by one.
Dissolving and cleansing.
Through your hands.
Dissolving and cleansing.
Through your hands down the stream.
Through the water.
Washing away fear.
Feeling the truth beneath.
You are allowed to care deeply for yourself too.
Breathing in this self-love.
And out expanding.
Breathing in this self love.
And out expanding.
And finally here today in your inner garden.
In the middle of your boundaries next to your stream.
Placing both hands on your heart now,
Both your left and your right.
We will conclude.
This journey today,
This.
.
.
Loving without losing yourself.
With so much gratitude.
For all of the versions of you.
That have loved in the best way that they knew they could.
Gratitude and compassion.
All of the versions of you.
That did what they thought.
Was right,
What they thought was most compassionate.
Would bring the most connection?
And love.
Feel.
All of these versions.
Of yourself.
And with your heart beating together,
We breathe in grateful appreciation.
Breathing in.
And out expanding.
Breathing in.
And out expanding.
With so much appreciation and gratitude for all that you are.
Allowing any imagery around your garden and your inner world to begin to fade.
Begin to dissolve knowing that this place and all that you have done today.
Is accessible whenever you need.
Feeling your fingers in your toes,
Your body in the chair or the bed that you're laying in.
And with so much compassion,
Softness and ease.
When you're ready.
Can open your eyes and step back out into your external world,
Into your external relationships from this place.
Of harmony.
