Welcome to this guided meditation for stress relief breathing.

In this practice,

We will take part in a deep breathing technique that offers a respite from the demands of daily life.

Through the power of intentional breath,

We can restore balance,

Reduce stress,

And cultivate a deeper connection with our inner selves.

Find a comfortable position,

Whether sitting or lying down,

And gently close your eyes.

Gently settle into your body,

Allowing your muscles to relax,

And your mind to release any lingering tensions.

Give yourself permission to let go of any expectations,

And simply surrender to the present moment.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose,

Allowing your abdomen to expand fully.

Feel the air filling your lungs,

Bringing with it a sense of rejuvenation and vitality.

As you exhale softly through your mouth,

Visualize all the stress,

Worries,

And tension leaving your body,

Dissolving into the atmosphere.

Take a couple more deep breaths,

Creating space within your body.

Feel the gentle swell of your chest and abdomen as you draw in revitalizing energy.

As you exhale,

Imagine all tension and worry dissipating,

Leaving your being in a state of calmness and ease.

Now,

We will begin to count the breaths.

Breathe in deeply,

Counting to four in your mind,

Feeling the coolness of the air as it enters your nostrils.

Hold your breath for a moment,

And then exhale slowly,

Counting to six,

Feeling the warmth of the breath as it leaves your body.

Continue this pattern of breath,

Inhaling for a count of four,

Holding for a moment,

And exhaling for a count of six.

With each breath,

Imagine yourself drawing in pure,

Positive energy,

And releasing any tension or stress that you may be holding on to.

Feel a sense of lightness,

And ease with each exhale,

As if a weight is being lifted from your shoulders.

Breathe in two,

Three,

Four,

Hold,

And breathe out two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six,

And again,

Breathe in two,

Three,

Four,

Hold,

And breathe out two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Allow your breath to flow gracefully in and out of your body.

As you focus on your breath,

Notice the sensation of expansion and contraction in your body.

Feel your chest rise and fall,

Your abdomen gently expanding and contracting.

Allow each breath to ground you in the present moment,

Anchoring your attention and bringing a sense of calmness to your entire being.

With every exhale,

Release the thoughts that no longer serve you.

Let go of any worries,

Doubts,

Or self-imposed limitations.

Allow them to dissolve into the air,

Creating space for clarity,

Peace,

And renewed energy.

As you continue this rhythmic breathing,

Observe any sensations or emotions that may arise within you.

Without judgment,

Simply notice them and let them pass.

Allow your breath to act as a soothing balm,

Washing away any stress or tension that you may be carrying.

Breathe in two,

Three,

Four,

Hold,

And breathe out two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Breathe in two,

Hold,

And breathe out two,

As you allow your breath to settle,

Guide your awareness to the present moment.

Notice the sounds around you,

The feeling of the air against your skin,

And the gentle rise and fall of your chest.

Surrender fully to this moment,

Embracing the stillness and allowing yourself to be fully present and aware.

In this state of mindful presence,

You can tap into your inner wisdom and find answers to any challenges or dilemmas you may be facing.

Trust in the power of your breath to guide you towards clarity and insight.

Know that within you lies a deep well of resilience and strength,

Ready to support you on your path.

As this practice draws to a close,

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Allowing your awareness to return to the physical sensations of your body.

Take a final deep breath,

Appreciating the nourishment and calmness it brings.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes,

Carrying the peace and tranquility of this practice with you into the world.

May the gift of stress relief breathing be a source of comfort and renewal,

Empowering you to face the challenges of life with grace and ease.
