Thank you for joining me here today.
We're going to be doing a 61 point traditional yoga nidra meditation topped off with chakra realignment.
To start,
Find yourself in a comfortable position and gently close your eyes and gently settle into your breath.
As you settle into your body,
Find your sankalpa or an intention that you wish to focus on during this meditation.
Ensure that you repeat it in present tense as if it has already happened.
We will shortly be running through 61 points.
As we do so,
Make sure that you shift your focus to each of the body parts as I say them.
And we begin.
Right thumb.
Right index finger.
Right ankle.
Second toe.
Left little finger.
Right shoulder blade.
Space between the eyebrows.
Centre of the throat.
Visualise a deep red light around you.
This is your sacral chakra.
Pleasure.
Bring your awareness up to your upper abdomen,
To your solar plexus,
Which is situated just below the ribs.
Picture now a golden yellow light radiating outward.
Feel it increasing your confidence,
Your inner power.
Now take your awareness to the centre of your chest,
To the heart.
As you breathe in,
Picture the light getting brighter to your throat chakra,
Situated at the base of your throat.
Picture here a soft blue light spiralling.
This encourages truth,
Expression and clarity.
Picture here an indigo light coursing gently.
This third eye chakra awakens intuition,
Perception and sense now a connection,
Awareness back into your body.
Notice the weight of your body resting on the surface beneath you.
You feel supported,
Safe.
Feel the rhythm of your breath effortless.
Let your awareness travel through your heart space,
The centre of calm,
Compassion and renewal.
Silently repeat your sankalpa once more.
Letting it land softly.
Allow the energy of that intention to ripple through you,
A gentle grounded.
Know that healing isn't a single moment,
It's quiet unfolding.
Carry this sense of calm and trust with you into the rest of your day.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Returning to the present moment with peace and softness.
