Hello everyone,
And welcome to our fourth session in 31 Keys to Change Your Destiny.
I'm Guy Findley and I'm glad that you have come this far with me because we have so much to see and learn together,
All of which,
If we will acknowledge and then act on the knowledge that we're gaining,
Can change our destiny right now.
The fourth key in the 31 Keys is called Refuse to be Self-Compromising.
We all pretty much know what that means,
But let's look at it a little more deeply.
The insight is that we must drop any thought or action that creates conflict in the present moment for the promise of a better feeling,
A better tomorrow to come.
It's hard for us to understand,
But our being is our future.
Just as a tree grows from a seed,
So does the experience we have of our life grow out of our level of being.
So when we talk about refuse to be self-compromising,
Here's an example.
How many times in your life has someone asked you to do something or maybe you avoided someone because you knew they were going to ask you for something that you didn't want to do or to give?
We compromise ourselves when we avoid unwanted conditions because as we grow into this new understanding,
We start to realize that really what we're avoiding in that relationship,
In that moment,
Is the fear we have of what it may mean to us if in fact we run into that person or that situation.
So we're really not avoiding the person.
We're running from a fear that belongs to a level of our being that has no right to rule us,
Let alone the choices that we make in that moment.
That's why we want to refuse to be self-compromising.
Our true nature,
Our being,
Is now.
There's no later for it.
We can't be divided and be content.
It's impossible.
The more we can choose to be whole by living from and meeting every moment from a level of ourselves that recognizes we are experiencing ourselves in that moment,
The better our experiences will become and the truer to ourselves and everyone else we will be now and in the future.
I hope you'll join me tomorrow for our next session in 31 Keys,
Which is to see that everyone suffers.
It's a surprising topic and a better result than you could possibly imagine when you understand that you and I are not the only one in the world that feels the way we do in the moment we feel that pain.
See you tomorrow.
