Hello,
This is Guy Finley and we're about to look at the ninth of the 31 keys to change your destiny.
I trust that you've worked with the keys so far and that you're beginning to see the relationship between the various insights and the power that it gives us to change the way in which we meet the moment so that in our willingness to meet the moment in a new way,
We don't have to think so much about a new year ahead of us because the newness inside of us will take care of everything that we're looking for in every moment of our life.
That's the beauty of changing our being.
We change our destiny and our destiny is always bright when we're on the right side of the understanding we need to make those kind of changes,
Which brings us to the ninth of our 31 keys.
It's called step down as judge.
And I hope that we can be as honest as we need to be to make these changes in our being.
But most of us know the easiest thing in the world is to walk around unconsciously feeling superior to almost everyone that we meet.
It's important to understand that we mustn't judge ourselves for this judge that lives in us.
That's critical.
It isn't you,
It isn't I who judges other people.
The judgment of others,
Of moments that we don't want belong to a nature that lives in the past that always compares what its experience is of the moment to what it believes it ought to be.
But our being,
Our true nature doesn't meet moments measuring them against the past.
It's better than that.
It's wiser than that.
It doesn't judge the moment because it's already above any moment that that judge calls out as being a problem.
I mean which would you rather have?
A life where you're forever judging people or problems and then coming up with actions?
Or would you rather have a understanding that lets you see that the problem,
The person,
The situation that you're about to judge only exists because of a level of being that you don't know you're about to embrace as your own?
If we'll step into our true being,
Become aware of ourselves,
Awake in the moment when the sense of needing to judge another person appears,
Then we can begin to step down as judge and that's the same as stepping into the awareness that judging another does nothing good for him,
Her,
Or ourselves.
And lastly,
I want to tie this particular session into the one that we had number five where we talked about how everyone suffers.
There is something that we need to see if we want to be free,
If we want to have a truly beautiful life.
And that is that the reason that we suffer so much is because we are always caught up judging things.
Judging separates us from what we judge.
I'm going to repeat it.
Judging separates us from what we judge.
That's the pain.
Our true being is not separate from anyone or anything.
We all belong to a common spirit,
A common wish,
And ultimately a common work.
To raise our consciousness to such an extent that we understand that to judge others is in fact to judge ourselves and that the more awake we are,
The less likely we are to judge ourselves or anyone else.
Then,
We don't have to worry about the future because the present and our relationship to it has put us in a very special place where we get the idea at last that all is well with us because all is well with our being.
I'll see you in the tenth of our sessions coming up called Face Your Fearful Feelings.
See you in a bit.
