Hi,
This is Guy,
And welcome to our 19th Key in our 31 Keys to Change Your Destiny.
I don't know if you've ever noticed it before,
But I would call your attention to it.
If you watch somewhere on the street where you're walking or in a department store,
Most anywhere,
What you see is that for the most part,
Men and women walk along with their head down.
Their eyes are on the ground.
And the reason that their eyes are on the ground is because they're in thought.
They're thinking about what they need to do,
What went wrong,
How they might make changes in their life.
And all along,
They're in a relationship with a level of consciousness that is telling them who they are,
What to do,
And how to do it.
That's why,
If we want to change our destiny,
We have to hold our chin up.
You've heard the expression,
Keep your chin up.
What it really means is don't fall into those thoughts and feelings that want to pull you into their world,
Where they tell you who you are and what you have to do.
We can do so much better if we just keep our chin up.
Do it all the time.
Do it now.
The fact is,
Even that small change in our posture changes the way we feel.
It's a study in itself that so much of the way we feel depends upon the posture we're in.
And when we understand that something is choosing our posture for us,
Like keeping our head down as we walk along,
Then we're going to be the one who wants to choose what we feel and what we see.
And by lifting our chin up,
We become aware of something that wants to pull us down and into a world where the destiny is going to repeat itself because the nature isn't going to change.
Again,
Hold your chin up.
Keep your eyes looking forward,
Not backward,
Which is what they do when they're thinking about what should have been or how things could have been different.
The more we can learn to keep our chin up,
The straighter the line there will be between who and what we are and our new destiny.
We'll understand that as long as we listen to something telling us what we can do or cannot do,
We are blinded by those thoughts,
Which incidentally is why we walk with our chin down.
Keep your chin up.
Your true nature likes the heights.
Dare to follow it there.
You'll be so happy you learned this lesson as you work with keeping your chin up.
Join me in our 20th lesson called Let It Go when we come back tomorrow.
