Hello and welcome.
Go ahead and get seated into a comfortable position.
For this meditation,
I'd like to begin a heart activation breathing exercise.
We're going to focus on the air that we're inhaling specifically as it travels through our heart.
If you would like,
I invite you to place your palm over the left side of your chest,
Right over your heart.
As you inhale,
Feel your chest rise and expand.
Imagine your breath traveling through your heart muscle.
Imagine each winding path through its arteries and chambers.
Your heart is wise and powerful.
Let yourself get attuned to it.
With each deep breath in and out,
We are focusing purely on our heart.
Let yourself focus for a few more moments more on that sacred area.
And when you're ready,
Allow your breathing to settle into a relaxed and natural pattern.
Dose and tomato once said,
Begin each day with optimism and end each day with forgiveness.
Happiness in life begins and ends in your heart.
In searching for optimism,
We sometimes forget that a key component to optimism is forgiveness.
They are a yin and yang that walk hand in hand to create happiness within us.
Today we're going to set an intention of striving for a positive outlook and forgiving ourselves if we have moments where that outlook falters.
So let's tune back into your heart muscle.
As you feel your chest expand,
I want you to feel the seven affirmations that we're going to be speaking in your very being as I say them.
You are invited to repeat them back out loud or simply say them silently in your own mind.
Let's begin.
I know my strengths are greater than any struggle.
I learn and grow from my mistakes.
I am dependable and strong.
I welcome new experiences and change.
I know the fire and power that lies within me.
I radiate optimism and confidence.
I will seek the good in anything bad that comes my way.
Let those words seep into your very being.
Know them.
Feel them.
Feel the strong beating of your heart and know that you are powerful and you can handle anything that comes your way.
When you're ready,
Slowly allow your focus to move from your body and the inner workings of your heart back into the space around you.
Feel the very tips of your fingers,
Perhaps wiggle your toes.
I hope you have a wonderful day today.
Until next time.
