All right,
Hi,
Everybody.
Welcome in.
I'm really glad you're here.
So today's meditation is called Healing Your Inner Critic.
So we'll be spending the next 20 minutes creating a little distance from the voice that tells you you're not enough and reconnecting with a kinder,
More honest relationship with yourself.
When you're ready.
Gently close your eyes.
And let's begin.
So take a slow breath in.
And let it go.
And again,
Breathe in.
Notice how you're arriving today.
So maybe you've been replaying something you wish you said differently.
Maybe you've been picking apart your work,
Or maybe you've been focusing more on what went wrong than everything that went right.
And if that's been happening lately,
You're not alone.
Most of us have an inner critic.
And the goal here isn't to get rid of it completely.
It's to stop letting it speak louder than everything else.
It's to stop letting it speak louder than everything else.
So take another slow breath.
And notice your breathing.
Notice the feeling of your body becoming a little more settled.
And allow the Reiki energy to flow wherever it's needed.
So bring your awareness to the center of your chest.
To your heart chakra.
Take a slow breath here.
Imagining a soft green or pink light beginning to glow.
Think about the way you usually encourage the people you care about.
You celebrate them.
You remind them of their strengths.
And you ultimately see things in them.
They sometimes can't see in themselves.
Now ask yourself.
When was the last time I offered myself that same kindness?
No judgment.
Just curiosity.
And take another breath.
And imagine the green or pink light.
Creating a little more space around your heart.
A little less pressure.
A little more understanding.
If you feel called.
Silently repeating to yourself.
I deserve the same kindness I offer others.
I'm learning every day.
And I'm allowed to be human.
Allow Reiki to move gently through your heart chakra.
And rest here for a moment.
For now.
Bring your awareness to the space between your eyebrows.
Your third eye.
A place connected to awareness,
Perspective,
And truth.
And take another slow breath here.
And notice the thoughts that come and go.
Some are encouraging.
Some are critical.
Some are just habits we've carried for years.
And in this space,
Imagine you're sitting on a park bench.
Watching people walk by.
Your thoughts can be like that.
You don't have to follow everyone.
You can simply notice them.
Mask yourself gently.
Is this thought helping me grow?
Or simply keeping me stuck.
Take your time.
Notice whatever comes up.
Sometimes the loudest voice.
Isn't the wisest one.
I don't have to believe every critical thought.
I choose a kinder perspective.
I see myself with honesty and compassion.
And imagine this indigo light becoming a little clearer with every breath.
Creating space for a different conversation with yourself.
And allow the Reiki to continue flowing.
Now,
Notice the green light in your heart.
The indigo light in your third eye.
And watch them begin working together.
Compassion,
Perspective.
Kindness,
Awareness.
Notice how differently your inner voice sounds.
When it's supported by both your heart and your wisdom.
And take one slow breath in.
And slowly breathe out.
And rest here for a few quiet moments.
You and begin bringing your awareness back to your physical body.
Back to your breath.
Noticing the room around you.
Feeling the warmth on your skin.
Gently wiggling your fingers and your toes.
Taking one final deep breath in.
And slowly let it go.
So as you move through the rest of your day,
Pay attention to the conversations you have with yourself.
When that critical voice shows up,
You don't have to argue with it.
Simply pause,
Take a breath.
And choose a kinder response.
That small shift can change far more than you realize.
That small shift can change far more than you realize.
So thank you so much for spending this time with me today.
I hope you take good care of yourself and be well.
