Welcome,
My name's Tone.
So this meditation is for those moments when something with a family has left you feeling hurt,
Frustrated,
Overwhelmed,
Or simply just a little off.
So feel free to get comfortable and we'll begin.
Taking a slow breath in through your nose.
And let it go.
Again,
Breathe in.
And exhale.
And just notice how you're feeling right now.
Maybe there was an argument.
Maybe a comment that hit differently than you expected.
Maybe someone crossed a boundary that you've created.
Or maybe you walked away from a conversation feeling misunderstood.
Or maybe it's something that's been building for a long time.
So family has a way of bringing up so much.
Sometimes one interaction can bring us right back to an old feeling.
An old pattern.
Or even an old version of ourselves.
Take another slow breath.
You know,
In this moment,
You don't have to figure out the relationship right now.
For these next few moments,
We're going to focus on you.
How you're feeling,
What you're carrying.
And what you're ready to put down for a little while.
So starting by bringing your awareness to the center of your chest.
To your heart chakra.
And imagining a soft green light beginning to form here.
Take a slow breath into the heart center.
Notice what your heart is holding from this situation.
Maybe it's anger,
Disappointment,
Sadness,
Guilt.
Maybe part of you wishes things could just be different.
And let whatever is there,
Be there.
There's no pressure to turn anger into love or turn forgiveness to anyone.
Or have to forgive anyone during this meditation.
I just want you to give yourself some space to feel what you're actually feeling.
Take another slow breath.
And imagine.
This green light gently surrounding whatever is there.
Creating a little more room around it.
Sometimes we spend so much energy trying to understand why someone behaved the way they did.
That we forget to ask ourselves,
How did that make me feel?
And take a moment with that.
Now ask yourself,
What do I need after that experience?
Maybe you need space.
Maybe you need a boundary.
Maybe you need reassurance or maybe you just need time before having another conversation.
Just listen to what comes up.
An invitation here to quietly repeat to yourself.
My feelings are allowed to be here.
I can give myself the space I need.
I choose compassion for myself.
And allow Reiki to move gently through your heart chakra.
And rest here for a moment.
To now.
Bring your awareness to your throat.
Your throat chakra.
And imagine a soft blue light beginning to form here.
Taking another slow breath.
So notice if there's anything you've been holding back.
Something you wish you said.
Maybe something you said that you wish you could take back.
Maybe something you want someone to understand.
Take another breath right here at your throat chakra.
And I just want you to acknowledge your truth.
What do I wish I could say honestly?
And let this answer come without editing it.
No one else needs to hear it right now.
This is just for you.
Now,
Now notice if all of it actually needs to be said.
Some things may need an actual conversation.
Some may need a boundary or.
.
.
Some things may simply need to be acknowledged within yourself.
Take a slow breath now.
My voice matters.
I can speak when I am ready.
I am allowed to protect my peace.
And allow Reiki to move gently through your throat chakra.
Feeling the blue light expanding through your throat.
Your neck,
Your jaw.
Your shoulders.
And let those spaces soften.
Now notice the green light in your heart.
The soft blue light at your throat.
And witness them beginning working together.
So what you feel what you need.
What you choose to say and what you choose to leave behind.
Take a slow breath in.
And slowly let it go.
For now,
Come back to yourself.
Let their reaction belong to them.
Let your energy come back to you.
And rest here.
Begin to bring your awareness back to your physical body.
Back to your breath.
Noticing the weight of your physical self,
The room around you.
Maybe the temperature of the air.
It'd be the surface supporting you.
And gently start to move your fingers and your toes.
Before opening your eyes.
Taking another deep breath in.
Slow exhale.
If you feel called,
Place one hand on your throat and one hand on your heart.
Feeling the breath move underneath your throat,
Underneath your heart chakra.
And family relationships can be complicated.
You can love someone and still need space.
You can care about someone and still have boundaries.
And you can understand where someone is coming from.
Without taking responsibility for everything they feel.
So as you move forward in the rest of your day,
Give yourself time before deciding what comes next.
Coming back to what you feel,
To what you need.
Coming back to yourself.
Collectively,
We'll take one more big breath to our upper chest area,
Inhaling in.
Slow exhale through the mouth.
And when you're ready,
Slowly blinking the eyes open.
Thank you so much for spending some of your day with me today.
I hope this meditation brought you a little more peace,
A little more connection.
And take good care of yourself and be well.
