Hi,
Everybody.
I'm Tone,
And welcome.
I'm so glad you made it here today.
So today's meditation is called quieting an overactive mind.
And we'll be spending the next 20 minutes creating a little space between you and the thoughts that have been asking for your attention.
So whenever you're ready,
Gently close your eyes and we'll begin.
So taking a slow breath in through your nose.
And let it go.
Again,
Breathe in.
Soft release.
And notice how you're arriving today.
Maybe you've been replaying conversations,
Planning tomorrow.
Trying to solve five different problems at once.
Or maybe you've simply been caring a lot more than you realized.
If that's how you've been experiencing your life,
You're not alone.
So our minds are always trying to protect us.
And sometimes in moments like this.
Our minds just forget to rest.
So take another slow breath.
And as you exhale,
Let your shoulders soften.
Relax your jaw.
Notice the muscles around your eyes.
And allow your breathing to settle into a comfortable rhythm.
For the next little while,
We're not trying to stop our thoughts.
Or simply giving them a little less attention.
Bring your awareness to the space between your eyebrows.
Your third eye chakra,
Your center of intuition,
Perspective,
Clarity.
Take a slow breath here.
Allow a soft indigo light to begin forming here.
And notice your thoughts as if you're sitting beside a quiet river.
Some thoughts move quickly,
Some move slowly.
Some keep coming back.
You don't need to follow every single one of them.
Just notice them passing by.
Sometimes we believe every thought simply because they're loud.
But not every thought deserves equal attention.
Take another slow breath.
And ask yourself.
What thought has been taking up the most space lately?
Notice what comes up.
There's no need to change it.
I just want you to be aware and acknowledge it.
Now let that thought drift a little farther downstream.
If you feel called,
Quietly repeating to yourself.
I can observe my thoughts.
You don't have to hold on to everyone.
It creates space for clarity.
And rest here by your river of thoughts.
And allow Reiki to continue flowing through your third eye.
Now.
Bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Your crown chakra.
Imagine a soft white light gently surrounding you.
Take another slow breath.
So there are moments when life asks us to figure everything out.
And there are moments when it's okay to simply trust that the next answer will come.
Think about a time when something eventually worked itself out.
Maybe not the way you expected,
But it's found its way.
Sometimes we put so much pressure on ourselves to know exactly what's next.
Maybe today isn't about finding every answer.
Maybe today is about trusting that you don't have to carry every question all at once.
Take another slow breath.
I trust that clarity will come.
I don't need every answer today.
I am supported as I move forward.
And imagine that white light gently washing over your mind.
Creating a little more space,
A little more openness,
A little more peace.
And allow the Reiki to continue flowing.
Now notice the indigo light at your third eye.
To the soft white light at your crown.
And watch them gently begin working together.
Perspective.
Trust.
Clarity.
In connection.
Take one slow breath in.
And slowly breathe out.
And for the next few moments.
Simply enjoy the quiet.
Start to begin bringing your awareness back to your breath.
Coming back to our physical body.
Notice the room around you.
Gently wiggling your fingers and your toes.
Maybe stretching if it feels good in this moment to bring your body back.
Before you open your eyes.
Take one final breath in.
And slowly let it go.
When you're ready,
Softly blinking your eyes open to come back to the space around you.
Noticing the world around you now differently.
Maybe feeling.
Sort of clarity within your brain now.
So as you move through the rest of your day,
Remember this.
Your mind doesn't have to solve everything today.
Sometimes.
The greatest clarity we get.
Comes after we've given ourselves permission to pause like this.
So thank you for spending some of this time with me today.
And I hope you have a wonderful week.
Take care.
