Take a comfortable seat either on the floor,
On a cushion or a chair and just allow yourself a moment to arrive.
Go ahead and close your eyes and take a deep breath in and then exhale and sigh it out.
Take one more deep cleansing breath,
Inhaling and then exhale and sigh it out.
Just let your body relax fully.
Relax the muscles of your face,
Relax your jaw,
Let the lips part slightly.
Drop the shoulders away from your ears and relax your stomach.
Just breathe naturally and comfortably.
Shift your awareness to the sitting bones and feel where they connect on the chair,
The cushion or the floor beneath you.
And imagine that those sitting bones are rooting down and then extend those roots down through the floor,
Through the center of the earth all the way to its molten core and wrap those roots around the molten core of the earth.
Feel how your lower part of your body is solid,
Rooted and steady.
From there extend the crown of your head up towards the sky,
Elongate the spine and imagine it as a pillar of golden light,
The radiant core of your being.
Rooting down through the lower half of the body,
Growing straight and tall,
Imagining that the energy is spiraling gently up your spine.
From there let's collect your energy from all of the places where it might have been left behind over the last few weeks of life.
So often we leave bits of ourselves behind and running errands,
Talking to people,
Interacting,
Work all those lovely things.
So we're going to imagine we're recollecting all of the energy that's been scattered to the four winds.
Imagine that you are collecting it into a brilliant golden sun up above your head.
You're gathering your own essence,
Your own energy,
Your own vibrance into a beautiful golden sun.
See it getting larger and larger as you pull all your energy back to yourself.
And now when the sun is as large as it can possibly be,
Imagine that that energy is pouring down through the crown of your head,
Coming into your body.
It's filling each cell of your body with golden radiance,
Your beautiful vibrance,
Your energy.
Imagine this golden essence is filling every cell from the top of your head to the tip of your toes,
Your fingertips.
See yourself filling up with this lovely golden radiance.
You can feel the tingling in every cell of your body as you replenish yourself this way.
And for the next few breaths,
Just allow yourself to bask in this lovely feeling of being filled with your own pure essence,
Your own you-ness.
This energy has filled you with so much vibrance and beauty that you can feel it extending beyond the edges of your body.
You're glowing.
Allow the energy to extend beyond the edges of your body into the space around you.
And just take another moment to really bask in this feeling of wellness and energy and vitality and radiance.
Own every bit of it because it's yours.
And then to seal this practice,
Let's take both hands over our heart,
Stacking one over the other,
Breathing into that heart.
Feel the hands moving as you take a deep breath in,
Feeling the love for yourself,
Feeling the love of this incredible feeling of vibrancy and radiance.
And remembering that you can return to this meditation anytime throughout your day.
Or even just take a moment to close your eyes from time to time and revisit this incredible,
Beautiful feeling.
And when you're ready,
You can let the hands return to your lab and gently open your eyes.
