This is a short guided meditation for presence.
As we begin,
Find yourself in a comfortable seated position.
Begin to deepen your breath as you find some comfort and relaxation in your seat.
Relax your shoulders and straighten your back.
See if you can feel any tension in your jaw and your forehead.
See if you can just relax your face.
Feel a sense of ease.
Allow your hands to just rest softly on your lap.
And as you deepen your breath,
Feel the aliveness spreading across your chest,
Down your arms,
Into your hands.
Feel the sense of presence as you ground and deepen into this seat,
And into this time
And place.
Feel yourself here,
In this moment.
Just be here.
Feel the aliveness in your belly,
Through your inhale.
Feel it spreading down your legs,
Into your feet,
To your toes.
Feel your connection with the world around you.
As you breathe in,
Take the world into you,
And then breathe out,
Sharing yourself with
The world.
Feel the aliveness all over your body.
And as we wrap up our practice,
Take the sensation of aliveness with you.
